Any bride looking for a beautiful full service location with indoor/outdoor wedding options and room for more than 200 guests has GOT to check this place out. Their pricing is incredible and amount of value a bride will get working with the Z Hall compared to other mid-michigan vendors just does not compare. I have attended several of their seasonal events as well as their "Dinner In The Garden" events and they are always excellent. The space is warm, inviting and beautiful, the food is delicious and their staff are always so kind and hospitable. If you have a wedding, or private event or are interested in their seasonal events, I give a very rare "5 Star / Must See!" rating. Great job Z Hall!

Throwing items from the grocery store, climbing and jumping on things , hitting each other with animals from the vet center, taking the mail from post office and throwing all over. Parents on cell phones not watching. When I informed staff member so no one got hurt, she acted like it was no big deal. We left because I didn't want my grandchildren to get hurt beca of this allowed behavior in the museum. What a shame that all staff sat at the desk chit chatting instead of stopping this behavior so everyone else could enjoy their day too.

We've been a few times when visiting family in the area and my son (age 4) always finds something to do. His favorite area tends to be the little town play area, which has a kid's size fire truck, post office, grocery store and restaurant. There are also areas for reading, science-oriented exhibits and other hands-on learning experiences. During the summer they also have a fun outdoor area for kids to try additional activities such as water rocket launches. The staff is also very nice and prices are reasonable. Tip: if you live in the area and plan to go more than twice a year, definitely get the family membership. Cons: it's on the smaller side and could be a little less exciting for older children. Bottom line: Definitely a bright spot in the Flint area. A great place to spend a couple of hours, young children will definitely be occupied.

Diane is an amazing host; upon arrival she walks you through to the room and explains the whole house layout. Excellent for groups we stayed along with my aunt and cousin. Our room was cozy and the themes robbers roost and Canterbury tales added to the character of the house. The little details in every inch of this place from the complimentary bottle of wine to the coffee and tea varieties available speak to the hospitality of our gracious host. So get your group together and book a night out; you won't be disappointed:)

But the real struggle was the service when we went to breakfast. The eggs were somehow rubbery and soggy, and the pancakes burnt and cold. My wife is a professional chef and said it's one of the worst breakfasts she's ever had. But we weren't going to say anything. But when the innkeeper came around to take our plates and asked "Are you done," we even pleasantly responded "Yes, thank you." But when she turned away and saw food left on our plates she mumbled "what a waste!" Again, we weren't going to say anything...but we quietly told her "There's food left because it was terrible." Instead of "Sorry you didn't like it" the innkeeper said "You don't know what you're talking about!" Who says this to guests? A professional chef doesn't know bad eggs and pancakes? Even without a professional chef, if a guest doesn't like your food you don't respond like that. She then said you should take a teaspoon of everything first too see if you like it. What?? No, you should expect the food to be edible. Then when I went to check out she held her hand out and said "keys." That's it. So I dropped them on the desk. She said "Have a day." Ridiculous guest service. I thanked her sarcastically for the "great service." And her response was "Whatever." Really class act

The Inn would be a great place for the wedding party to stay at. We stayed at the Norman Little room. It's not big, but honestly, since we only stayed for one evening, the size of the room didn't really matter. The most important thing was having an en suite bathroom and we had that. The next was a comfy bed, and we had that, too. The host was very kind and walked us to our room and we asked for additional pillows and she brought them right away. Since we're old and boring, laying in bed to watch Netflix was about the perfect ending to a great evening. Since we've never been here before, we didn't really know what to expect for breakfast. I wasn't expecting gourmet, so seeing hot eggs, potatoes, sausages, pancakes, and all the other basics (bagels, hardboiled eggs, etc.) was quite impressive. Coffee was coffee, k-cups and regular drip. Again, I don't come to a B&B to get fancy coffee, as long as it gets my heart started, that's all I need. I'm not sure what the pricing is like in the summer, but it was an awesome deal during the off-season. I would love to stay there again some time.

Although Steve wasn't able to accommodate the short notice, he went out of his way to help. He took the time to offer thoughtful suggestions, checked his schedule to see if there was any possible way to make it work, and showed genuine care for my situation. As someone who is not from the Flint area and unfamiliar with local food options, his guidance was incredibly helpful. Steve's hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond left a strong impression. Even though they couldn't meet this particular request, I will absolutely call Creative Catering the next time I need catering in the area. Their customer service alone is worth it.

The staff was on time, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We will definitely used Creative Catering again.
