Immediately on my very 1st visit with doctor Marcus she removed the necrotic tissue said that it would have never then treated with the medihoney Because it was too thick and she said the world was getting deeper. They instructed me not to remove my bandages where as well star one at me removing my bandages every single day and changing the dressing washing it in the shower with regular soap and doctor Marcus said she did not want me getting it wet at all it or taking the bandage off and I was to go to her To remove the bandages and she also told me what kind of diet to eat and that I need to have my leg elevated and not put any pressure on my leg whatsoever so that the wound could heal. I left doctor Marcus not well star for the 1st time in 2 months feeling leg there had been progress made with my wound she said that dark ring that you see around the wound was not gonna heal and you don't see that on the original wound when it was blistered. Do not go to this wellstar Medical facility it is horrible! They may have just ruined the way my leg will look for ever! My current doctor said washing the wound with regular soap in the shower was only making it worse causing bacteria to enter into the wound wellstar told me not to use hibbiclense! Disappointing Experience…read more I was disappointed with my experience, especially with the front office staff. The attitude and communication were not what I expected from a professional medical facility. When I checked in, I was told that my insurance was accepted, and I was asked to provide a credit card to keep on file. Based on that conversation, I understood that my insurance would be properly processed and that I would be informed of any additional charges before my card was charged. Several days later, I received a hospital bill/charge that I was not expecting. I was not clearly informed that I would be responsible for this amount or that my card could be charged for the balance. I understand that insurance claims and billing can sometimes be complicated, but patients deserve clear communication about what they may owe. The front office should explain any potential out-of-pocket costs and charges before billing the patient. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both customer service and communication with patients.

I sat in their waiting room for 19 minutes & no one came from the back or in the front door. At 10 AM a woman came and stood in front of the receptionist for 5 minutes without being acknowledged at all. The woman asked to be seen early for her 10:30AM appointment. They told her sure. In that 30 minutes they could have seen me. If I could give o zero star I would.

When they took my blood pressure the doctor noticed it was high so we had a converstion about it which is not 'covered' by the insurance. The covered part is the actual monitoring of the blood prssure but once you discuss it the results, they bill you for an office visit of nearly $300 as well. So BS! I hate this place!
