I visited this Circle K often, mainly because it was close by to where I was staying. What's interesting about Circle K stores in Winnipeg is that they all used to be Mac's convenience stores.
You don't see any Circle K stores with Esso stations in Winnipeg. As a result, you can't earn PC Optimum points because they are standalone stores.
I liked dropping by this Circle K. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking. I had no problem backing into a spot every time I was here. I also liked the garbage bin on the right side of the store, to dispose of my empty popsicle wrappers.
This store has everything you'd want in a Circle K. Hot drinks, such as flavoured lattes and hot chocolate. Taquitos. Sausages and hot dogs. Frosters. Ice cream. Cold drinks.
I loved coming here. I often had a digital coupon to redeem. However, I ended up getting frozen treats, such as a KitKat ice cream bar and popsicles because it was hot in Winnipeg and I wanted something cold.
Every time I visited this store, I got a completely different staff member. Each one was friendly and great. And yes, digital coupons work Canada-wide at Circle K. I never had any issue redeeming them.
There was never a lengthy lineup at this store. At most, one person was in front of me.
I recall a couple of women complaining to the male staffer that the floor was sticky in front of the Froster machines. I never got a Froster and never walked over there to test out wither my sandals would ground me. The rest of the store that I had visited was clean with no sticky flooring.
It was great dropping by this store. I kind of miss it. I hope to revisit the store when I'm back in Winnipeg.
