Noticed a low tire yesterday, so we made an appointment at Canadian Tire Polo Park to have the…read moretires checked. Should take all of 5 minutes for pros. My wife brought the car in early for her 0900 h appointment...do you think they took half an hour? an hour? two hours? Nope! She was still there at 1145h, almost 3 hours later. DO NOT SHOP FOR TIRES AT CANADIAN TIRE POLO PARK!! WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE. Does not deserve 1 star, there should be a 0 star option just for this place.

They act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, and any basic request is met with attitude. Customer service is clearly not a priority. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere--this place isn't worth it.

I'd often fuel my car here, be it on my way home when I lived in the city or before I dropped off my rental car. It was the latter today. It was nice to relive what I used to do. There is another Petro-Canada by the Courtyard Hotel at the airport. It's new to me. I will pay it a visit next time. I wanted to relive memories at this one. I had to wait a bit for an available gas pump here. The woman in front of me also had a rental car. I could tell because she waited in her car to fuel her car and came out once it was done. It also had a licence plate saying that it was a rental car. I have never made that move before. It wasn't even cold for Winnipeg. It was -3C. Balmy! I used my Petro-Points, 407 ETR, and debit cards at the gas pump. I then fuelled my rental vehicle without jumping into my car. To date, I have never paid for gas inside the store. My record remains intact. Easy peasy. I fuelled. I left. I returned my rental vehicle. All was great. It was nice returning here. It's always a convenient location to visit. It's also clean at this gas station. (72)

I had a really bad experience with one of the staff guys early this morning while I was in their…read morecar wash bay. He comes to me with one of his other coworker and says there is car waiting outside while there was no one outside. And I said I'm almost done and just drying the doors as it was -26 with a windchill of -39 outside and was 6:30 am But then he stated to me " that you do this all the time" which really stuck me. And i was really upset and asked him how many times had he seen me because no body wants to be in there for no reason. And I said there's no car outside but he said it's waiting at the other bay which didn't make any sense to me and I told him ask the guy to come to this bay and I'll move my car which I did. But then I needed to talk to this rude employe and then I went in and see it was his car that he was eager to wash and wanted the customer out from his property. So I asked him nicely that how many times have he asked me to move my car and he said it was last year only once which really pissed me off. I had been their regular customer but still this place have no respect for their customers even thou I told him it's a commercial vehicle. This really hurt me so I would be looking forward to bringing this issue to the store owner as he/she might not be aware of what's going on. But this is really unacceptable asking customer to leave the bay so he can get his car in because I saw him using the codes instead of loonies to wash his own car. Thanks
