I just had a bad experience at this location. So I go in to get gas at this establishment and the worker there was very un-personable but it's cool I'm only getting gas at that moment right. Then I see the car wash option and I'm like oh I really need a car wash but have no clue how it works. I try to let the RUDE man behind the counter know but I figured perhaps it's a simple drive thru car wash like the rest of them shouldn't be so bad. So I purchased the car wash the guy at least advised get the gas first then enter the code for car wash I'm like okay cool thank you. So I head over to the car wash thing with "no attendant" and their was a car finishing up their wash. I checked out all the confusing information on the board. Then thought this was a bad idea I have no idea what this says or how to do it aside from entering the code the machine said it was still in use even tho the folks that were there before me left a good 5 mins ago. I'm like ok it hasn't reset what do I do!? So I went back to let the rude gentlemen know excuse me I'm a little confused I've never done this before :( he was sooo rude he went over to the machine and was frustrated that I didn't know what I was doing. He told me pull my car up (rudely & forcefully) then I did and then my car started smoking from the water hitting the wheels while I pulled up as instructed. Then he told me pull all the way up I did then he yelled NO! STOP! I'm like oh then the machine made a beep sound and he threw my receipt at me and walked off! I understand that's how they are with women in their culture. But when you come here to the states YOU CAN NOT TREAT us the same! I'd really hate to turn this into a melting pot culture thing but the REAL REALITY is THATS EXACTLY WHAT WERE DEALING WITH when it comes to folks coming from their county to the US and bringing their cultural ethics with them whereas WE WOULDN'T DARE be able to do the same in theirs!!! It's frustrating and unethical and demeaning and disgusting and distasteful and frankly there's nothing anyone can do about it obviously because of the EOE! My mother went through the worse experience She went in to claim her surprise bag from the app toogoodtogo. A white worker, a Latino worker, and an Asian worker got upset at my mom, called her a lowlife and threw the bag at her. They were yelling at her inside the store. What a poorly ran business. Not sure if this is independently owned or a corporate owned location but they need to give their employee "ED" a training on customer service. Took my car in for a quick wash and got the $17 one. To my surprise after the wash my hood was still dirty as there were a lot of dirt spots still. I immediately went inside and explained my situation and I just asked if they could just run my car through again to get it cleaned and was told no. I told ED who supposedly says he is the manager there as well this and he says well you paid $17 for a cash wash and it washed it so it did its job. Wtf kind of response is that from a manager? Pathetic. The crazy part is I could literally wipe some of the dirt off of my hood with my finger. It should be common sense that if you take a car to go get washed and it's not completely clean after then the job isn't done right? Especially since I paid for a "premium" wash too Ended up filing a complaint with corporate and guess what, they gave me a code for another wash. Lady at register asked my birthday in order to buy a lottery scratcher ticket. She refused to sell me a ticket until she verified my birthday. Unbelievable.... I would like to change my review,at the time I posted this event I did not understand the attitude of the employee, since I have lived in the neighborhood awhile, I figured out the daily frustration of not only that employee but all of them deal with. I don't want to talk down the homeless, however they do have a fond heart of this store in walking out of the store without paying, it's a viscous circle in this area. It was super cool I met the general manager of the location His name is Ed he is amazing He will have me coming back every time to get my gas here. I walked into this place because I was looking for Beat Box boxes wine. I wandered the aisles, and then proceeded to leave when I realized they weren't there and there was a huge line and I wasn't going to bother to ask the woman at the front. Where can you go wrong with a Circle K? They have all the good snacks like the smoked pepper-jack sausages and the all beef hot dog and the three different types of taco rollers and let's not forget the nachos oh man my mouth is watering just typing about it. Worst customer service on the face of the planet. Was charged for a carwash when the machine was broken. Machine didnt print a receipt and tried to go inside the store for one. It took close to 40 minutes to resolve. After having to wait for more than 20 minutes for the store to open after an employee break and another 15 or so. Explained what happened, pulled up the credit card charge and was still accused of lying. Another employee went to check the machine. I was finally believed and got my money back. May 15, 2018 at 9:34pm, extremely poor car wash system, and bad customer service. After I clicked paid gas and car wash, drove to the car wash, then enter the code, it said invalid code. So I went in and asked the cashier for service, she said I didn't pay for cash wash. So I went out again, paid $7 in the system to wash. The system said, drive forward, and the only thing I get was a little spray of soap. Yes, the entire car wash system was out-of-order. Therefore, I asked the cashier for the refund, but the cashier didn't want to pay me, because I don't have anything to prove! Here is the list of my evidence: the car wash was out-of-order, in front of my car showed a spray of soap, there were cameras everywhere, and I spent $27.29 for fuel. if I can leave no star, I would. I went shopping at Walmart, then decided to try the car wash and pump gas too. Usually they have combo like discount on gas if you do car wash,too. But this station doesn't. Then we chose standard car wash which it $11 (the price hasnt showed up before we selected it). There was no receipt coming out for car wash code, so I had to go inside asking for a code. Then now come to the worst part. Car wash does not have any washer equipment, just water and soap. I've never even my life experienced racism from someone against my fiancè like I did today. We came in tonight to buy a soda and some truly (not for me because I'm pregnant).my fiancè couldn't carry them all so I helped him and set them on the counter and stepped back. The employee who was behind the counter asked him for his I.D. and he showed it to her she then asked me for mine..I didn't bring it because once again I'm pregnant and why would I since I can't drink....when I told her that I didn't have one she refused to sell my fiancè the drinks..she stated it's the law and she's on camera...now mind you she spent 10 mins ringing up the guy in front of us who bought 2 giant bottles of smirnoff and she did not ID him... now we have been to this circle K numerous times and have even defend this same employee when people have been aggressive to her (this corner is full of homeless people and drug addicts). I would have let it go if it wasn't for the comment she made about my fiancè..she literally said after we started to walk out "you gonna buy the soda white boy"....who makes a comment like that...we all know white that means. That place is always gross...soda machines dirty.....they close for "breaks" all the time and will literally kick you out..they have never done that to us because like I said we go there all the time and have always been friendly to each other. She would tell us that we can come and would lock the door...she would see us and let us in....so to experience this tonight was disgusting..even the woman behind us tried to step up and buy the alcohol for my fiancè as she could clearly see I was pregnant... and was in shocked by what the lady that works there said. The cashier was not helpful and she was rude. I went in for a soda and a car wash code. The soda machine had 3 different flavors that weren't working. So I go to buy the car wash and I pick the $15 one and then I ask to get a $5 scratcher- they're out of those too. I then exit the store and go to the car wash kiosk. It says "Code Unauthorized." And then "Car Wash Unavailable." Cool. I go back inside and the cashier was sitting on a stool, on her phone, and not looking up at me despite hearing the bell when the door opened. I inform her of the car wash issue and she gives me a dirty look and tells me "it's been working all day long." That's cool. It isn't working now. She kind of huffs and puffs and refunds my money. Then she says "write on the receipt." I asked her what she wants me to write and she irritably tells me "whatever you just said. I have to show the manager" and walks away.
