This gas station is located in the middle of nowhere, just outside of Sinton. There's not much going on around here. Just gas. It's situated by a crossover on the highway, and has room for semi trucks to gas up. There's a convenience store located here, but it's small. This place wasn't very clean. It seemed windswept, and trash blew across the parking area. The gas pumps work okay.

(I wish gas stations in Austin had these hot breakfast taco bars.) There was no line during checkout and the cashier cracked a joke that made me smile. This Stripes is located very close to the east beach and the Corpus Christi Historical area / Visitor Center / Museum District. It is a block or two past where I-37 becomes a regular road (from being a highway).

I've stopped by for some tacos a few times. The food is pretty good. It's made fresh everyday. Try the barbacoa tacos are pretty dang good, especially for a convenient store. They also sell red diamond brand tea by the gallon (my favorite). Whenever I feel like getting a midnight snack this is my go to place. A pint of ice cream, a gallon of sweet tea and maybe some chocolate go perfect with a movie rental from the red box for only a little over a dollar. Perfect movie night.

I Got Stripes - Stripes Around My Shoulders This is an okay…read moreconvenience store that started along here in the coastal bend. It's also a Valero, they pump the gas here. The convenience store is located right on the main street of town here in Sinton. Their gas is always at the same price as the Exxon across the street. I think they coordinate. The inside is pretty cramped and full of merchandise. They've got a wide array of alcoholic drinks and types of snuff and chaw. Their gas pumps are probably just as busy as the ones across the street. I ended up getting some ice to go along with my gas, and they did a good job of selling it to me cold and frozen! This gas station is easy to access, it's on a hard corner.
