My GPS let him know that there was a Chevron, which I assumed would take Apple Pay so I told him to go there. My boyfriend unfortunately had never actually used Apple Pay so when he went inside he asked the teller if they accepted it to which he replied "yes". Then my boyfriend followed up with "great, how do I do it?" To which the teller replied "USE YOUR PHONE". When my boyfriend replied with "I've never done it before" the teller just sort of shrugged. There was someone in line behind my BF so he got out of his way and went outside to try and figure out how to use Apple Pay. Then when he thought maybe he had it he went back inside, went to the counter and waited for the same clerk to turn around.... which he did not. Then my boyfriend said "ok so can I get $20 on pump #1?" No response. He repeated himself... nothing. He tried to get his attention again. NOTHING!! The clerk for whatever insane reason literally would not turn around?!!! My boyfriend gave up and went outside again. Luckily there was a lady in scrubs on pump #2 who saw what was going on and she came over and offered up her credit card so he could get gas. She didn't even care how much as long as he had enough to get where he needed to go but he insisted on stopping at $5. So to that beautiful human I want to say thank you because my boyfriend was literally almost in shock after how that freak of a clerk treated him. Again, thank you. Now to that bald headed clerk who was working on April 8 at 2pm, you are pathetic and I hope your boss reads this review. I don't know what your "deal" is. I don't know if it's because you didn't understand my English speaking boyfriend (he said the clerk had a heavy Spanish accent) or if you are deaf, ignorant, rude or maybe you didn't like the way my man looked (long hair, white, dressed like a musician..... BECAUSE HE IS ONE). Obviously he will never stop here to fill his own Denali WHICH he would have since it's on the way to the recording studio he has been driving to in Alta Dena on a daily basis.

I personally use American Express for everything to earn points. I usually get 2X's the points at gas stations but because this is affiliated with a supermarket it doesn't qualify. This place is usually packed after 7:00 am. This place is always clean and pumps are all new so no problems. You can even buy red bulls, chips, soda etc. and expect to pay supermarket prices not those inflated gas station prices so that is a good thing. I don't shop at food 4 less market, but if you do, they do give a discount if you use their rewards card. This gas station is also open 24 hours. This station has free water/ air for your vehicle as well.
