My GPS let him know that there was a Chevron, which I assumed would take Apple Pay so I told him to go there. My boyfriend unfortunately had never actually used Apple Pay so when he went inside he asked the teller if they accepted it to which he replied "yes". Then my boyfriend followed up with "great, how do I do it?" To which the teller replied "USE YOUR PHONE". When my boyfriend replied with "I've never done it before" the teller just sort of shrugged. There was someone in line behind my BF so he got out of his way and went outside to try and figure out how to use Apple Pay. Then when he thought maybe he had it he went back inside, went to the counter and waited for the same clerk to turn around.... which he did not. Then my boyfriend said "ok so can I get $20 on pump #1?" No response. He repeated himself... nothing. He tried to get his attention again. NOTHING!! The clerk for whatever insane reason literally would not turn around?!!! My boyfriend gave up and went outside again. Luckily there was a lady in scrubs on pump #2 who saw what was going on and she came over and offered up her credit card so he could get gas. She didn't even care how much as long as he had enough to get where he needed to go but he insisted on stopping at $5. So to that beautiful human I want to say thank you because my boyfriend was literally almost in shock after how that freak of a clerk treated him. Again, thank you. Now to that bald headed clerk who was working on April 8 at 2pm, you are pathetic and I hope your boss reads this review. I don't know what your "deal" is. I don't know if it's because you didn't understand my English speaking boyfriend (he said the clerk had a heavy Spanish accent) or if you are deaf, ignorant, rude or maybe you didn't like the way my man looked (long hair, white, dressed like a musician..... BECAUSE HE IS ONE). Obviously he will never stop here to fill his own Denali WHICH he would have since it's on the way to the recording studio he has been driving to in Alta Dena on a daily basis.

Two words: False Advertisement…read more Today on July 8 of 2024 I pulled into the gas station to fuel up and as I was going to place my car on park at one of the pumps I noticed a sign that said $.20 off per gallon with a purchase of a car wash.(No other words or verbiage at the bottom). That sign is about 5 feet from the car wash Entrance, so I proceeded to pull in and purchase a wash. After the car wash, I enter the building to show my receipt that I had just purchased and completed a car wash and that I wanted the $.20 off per gallon as a stated. Edna Told me that I had to purchase the car wash and the fuel at the same time at the counter with a live rep. I told her that the sign that I had read, didn't mention anything about going into the counter . Her response was "I've worked here for nine years, and I know what every sign says". Please keep In mind that I was explaining all this, but with a smile on my face as a regular paying confused customer. I said if you like, I can go take a picture of the sign that I saw and she said no need because I can't do anything as you already did the car wash. I still went out and took a picture to show her (wish I can place a pic here for reference of the false Advertisement). After I showed her the picture, she told me that's not the sign that I should be reading and instead I should try to fuel up and the pump would tell me that I want $.20 off per gallon that I would have to go inside. I said I understand what you're telling me that I should go to the counter first or else I would have done so. I told her is there anyway you can speak to your managers so they can help us with this. She told me that I would just be wasting their time but that she would go and check. After about 15 minutes of going back-and-forth with her, she told me that her management team told her to do it as a one time. This was after her telling me that she couldn't do anything on her end because the system wouldn't allow her to. But so easily after the management call, she was able to give me the discount as I should have gotten from the beginning. What started off as a great experience ended up with such a bad customer service experience and it made me feel lied to. I feel sorry for other customers that have been turned away from their discounts when purchasing the wash at the actual entrance and being turned down at the discount. Hence, false advertisement. Please purchase your fuel and any other items at other gas stations Save yourself a headache.

I pay with cash so I get the double benefit of cheaper gas and no risk of credit card theft. The lines are always short. And most important of all ........ they offer Costco prices without the Costco wait.

I personally use American Express for everything to earn points. I usually get 2X's the points at gas stations but because this is affiliated with a supermarket it doesn't qualify. This place is usually packed after 7:00 am. This place is always clean and pumps are all new so no problems. You can even buy red bulls, chips, soda etc. and expect to pay supermarket prices not those inflated gas station prices so that is a good thing. I don't shop at food 4 less market, but if you do, they do give a discount if you use their rewards card. This gas station is also open 24 hours. This station has free water/ air for your vehicle as well.
