This place is often a nightmare. At times I'm greeted warmly and others, like for instance last night, I was thrown out of that store for question the price of an object. The sale prices were still up, and the older African American lady working wanted to hear none of it. When I protested, I was thrown from the store. My wife was several people behind me in line, and tried to help the fellow in front of her pay for his items because he was having trouble getting his change together. The woman told her "No he has to pay for his own." When my wife understandably reacted to that, SHE was thrown out. As I was getting into my car, a fellow drove up beside me and asked what happened, and when I told him he said that he too, had been kicked out for some equally silly reason. As I understand it, there were four people tossed out of that store in a fifteen minute period , and the woman behind the counter could clearly have cared less. She should be fired immediately, and corporate should perhaps mandate that their new hires have an even temper and some, ANY sort of personality. (Besides surliness) All we wanted was to purchase gas and a few snacks, neither of which we were able to do. I assume the others who were told to leave have similar stories. Great going, Circle K. With the location, that store could be a gold mine, but I won't be back, and I already know many people who already refuse to go there because of past bad experiences. You're well on your way to losing a golden goose because of your inability to hire even mildly competent people. The service here is horrible. The store is always a mess inside, homeless and drug addicts loiter this location, the bathrooms are filthy (every time I visit the store). There is never printer paper at the pumps so I frequently walk inside to get one. Today the cashier was extremely rude and I don't deserve to be disrespected because she is busy or overwhelmed at her job. Her nasty tone and lack of respect are so severe that I'm convinced she does this often without repercussions. This may be my last visit to this store. read more

Went in to get a drink and use the bathroom, there was a worker standing in the bathroom doorway staring at me dumbly when I was walking towards it so I asked if it was open. She gave me a look and mumbled something under her breath and so I asked if it was closed or something. She didn't even respond to me and talked to another worker behind me informing her it was closed. Girl chill, I'm just asking, there was no need for the attitude. I don't rate this store anywhere in the positive side. The most disrespectful employees and security. The older Afro American is a very nice and respectful security guy. He and the Latina and Latino manager and employee are tolerable and respectful. I accidentally asked for the wrong scratch off ticket and was told that if I didn't buy it, I was banned from the store forever. It was a 20$ ticket and I only had 3$. I was kicked out the store very aggressively and disrespectfully by the old toothless security lady and the old hateful, disrespectful short black lady. They both yell and curse at customers. Horrible people skills. I don't want to get a store any stars because it's not worthy of any they won't even let me rate it one star so I can submit the review I'm obviously going to have to give it more than one star for them to let me press submit I've been trying to give it one star for 15 minutes and it keeps on deleting the star making me do more stars this place is crooked. read more

I bought an $80 prepaid visa gift card this morning to use to pay for a hotel room and basic necessities for the day. The card was faulty and could not be activated. I was told the card company was at fault and wouldn't be open until Monday so too bad and come back Monday because everything was closed. That was a lie. I spoke to them a few hours later. Then later I realized It was too late to go to the bank, and I really needed the $80 card I purchased with my hard earned money. So I called the "closed" prepaid card company and was told there was nothing they could do since the card hadn't been activated. It had to have been scanned wrong at the store. Called the store and the cashier was rude and unprofessional. Refused to do what they are legally obliged to do. They wouldn't refund or exchange the faulty product, which is ILLEGAL. couldn't care less that I have nowhere to sleep tonight and nothing to eat either. Nowhere to go. Nothing to do. They won't do what the law requires them to do until Monday. Saying they have to investigate it. NO. theu can investigate it for themselves, and give me my money back. The fact that they think the paying customer has to be the one who gets screwed is terrible. I'm suing. There is absolutely no reason to treat a paying customer so badly. It was a faulty product and Consumer rights are a real thing. Not something employees get to pick and choose. If I had simply changed my mind that would be one thing but I would be delighted to have that card if it worked. What if something bad happens in the middle of the night while I'm walking around aimlessly. I gave one star because 0 wasn't an option.
