When it comes to Bucky's Express, I will drive out of my way to go here when I am in need of gas for my car. Ever changing prices of gas aside, this is the perfect gas station for me. Located at Pyott and Randall, this is the easiest gas station for me to pull into while traveling up and down busy Randall road. It's located right next to a stop light with turn lanes that are easy to navigate. Turning into and out of this gas station is easy, something I consider very important. There's a good amount of pumps and ample space between them. Sometimes, you'll find yourself at a gas station that is very tight, making it seem like you're right on top of the other cars. Bucky's Express has a very open area for their pumps. It's also a well lit area come dusk. This makes me feel a little safer when filling my gas tank in the evening hours. I can't say I've ever utilized the car wash or the convenience store. When I have spoken to staff (very few instances) they've been friendly. There's not much parking for the convenience store specifically, but really, how many people 'hang out' at the gas station for long periods of time, so this shouldn't be a huge problem. Overall, this gas station is one of the few that doesn't cause me to feel anxious about filling my gas tank! I'm very happy with it.

There was no one working at the cash register and when people were doing self check out we had to wait a while if we needed help. Only one staff member came to help and there were three of us waiting at three different self checkouts. I would hate to have to come here during a busy time. They have everything you might need from snacks to over-the-counter medications to forgotten toiletries, but nothing special.

Overall, It is very nice in a small place, but I found it to be clean. I want to thank them for allowed the hubby to sit there for two hours in the twilight of the early morning! They were friendly and gave good directions and information about things around town; sorry, no names... They also had cheap gas. I hope I never go here again due to our situation, but yeah, this was a cool place!

I'd even argue it's better than the pizza at Casey's General Store. If gas station food isn't your jam, there is a Wendy's attached. They used to be called Flying Jay, but changed the name to Pilot maybe a little less than 10 years ago. I think Flying Jay Truck Stops still exist but Pilot is owned by the same company. I only say it still exists because the pizza boxs say both names on the box. I will also say, they do tend to have fairly clean bathrooms and the staff has never been rude. I also like that they sell dvds here, as it's where I bought the bulk of my Criminal Minds dvds.

Definitely not "sanitized" like the sticker says. The containers holding the sugars and (zero) creamers are filllled with dirt and crumbs. Most of the shelves for snacks were also totally empty. I know they're open all day and therefore have customers all day which is hard to keep up with but holy cow I can't believe this store. What a mess. Also Everything is super expensive and over priced.
