I decided to grab gas at this Chevron before heading to our destinations. I know for a fact I grabbed regular gas and pumped. My kids were so happy to have 1 on 1 time with mommy again as me and my husband just switched roles. He is 100% disabled veteran and retired from the USCG last October 1st. Anywho I finished up grabbed my receipt and headed to target, as we got about 10 miles down the road I was driving up a small hill, it start to make a clunking noise every time I pushed the gas. I thought I ran over something so I exited and parked at New Braunfels Self Storage to see if i did. Nothing was under the suburban and my kids were getting antsy and nervous. So I hit the gas a couple times a kept hearing it clank. So I called my husband and we both agreed I try to go back home. EVERY TIME I hit the gas it clunked so loud and the gas was slow to go. I had my hazards on the whole time and was super anxious as I didn't to just die in the middle of the road. Well I got home and decided to call Christian brothers on 46 , they told us to come in as soon as we could in the morning. The next morning I get ready for work and my husband is getting ready to take my suburban to Christian brother but now it won't stay on?! It turns over but that's it. He calls Christian brothers and they asked if I got gas at the chevron on 46 and that they had diesel in the regular gas pumps!! So my husband got a tow truck for the suburban to take it to Christian brothers , i then had to ask my job if I could come in late ( money and hours lost for my family! ) i walked in and another family was there. I was asked to put my information on a piece of printer paper? I was hesitant at first as I would think the manager would know the protocol on these types of things, she didn't she stated this is the first time it's happened since she worked there. , I thought I would be a filling an actually proper form and given information on what would happen next or to do next. She had no answers for me? I call and no one answers it keeps ringing or just hangs up on me. I am not sure if I will ever trust this gas station again if the manager doesn't even know the proper protocols ....

Always has the best prices on gas, cleanest gas station I've ever seen including Buc-ee's and the staff is outstanding. Friendly and moving the lines quickly. Never had anything from the kitchen other than from the grab and go but you can see the kitchen and it appears to be spotless. Appreciate their effort as it would be easy to say we are a gas station what do you expect but they never have. Be back later today I'm sure.
