Today is the 15th of Feb. Inside the gas station at approximately 11 AM, the attendant, quite literally the walking stereotype of a DND Grand Wizard, rejected service to me on the grounds my ID has a tiny chip in it - as in on the top left corner has a tiny bite mark left from a little rodent dog who's appetite is as insatiable as this mans quest to only service pretty girls. Imagine my dismay as I, not a pretty girl, hand him my ID. He looks at me and the ID, determining I am in fact who I say I am; without swiping it, scanning it, or otherwise, makes the comment that he can't accept my ID because of the aforementioned chip. Considering I've traveled the globe and various states with this ID - all while having this chip - I again posit his decision was based in the fact I was not a pretty girl. The only reason I mention this fact is because he spent probably a good minute carding a woman in front of me and flirting with her generously. Sorta weird.
Yeah, one star. read more
