The college aged young man was quite rude, unhelpful and when I asked as it kept not reading the card if it was ready to accept the Apple Pay was met with "I don't know I just work here." When I asked if I could key it in, as I had before. "No we don't do that." I asked if I could speak to the manager. "No he's not here." Like all mechanics, he's got busted knuckles, a bad back and miles of scar tissue. He kept thousands of vehicles that were long overdue for the junkyard on the road. His customer base ranged from the richest people in Grand Forks to the people like me who lived paycheck to paycheck. He treats everyone like they are his best friend. 124 Belmont Road is a little slice of heaven, it's sad it's a forced retirement but Paul has worked 15 hour days and sometimes more to keep his customers happy. As the son of a mechanic with 50 years+ experience, I can safely say that Paul is one of the most respected people in automotive business in North Dakota, scratch that North America.

They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!

What has been unfortunate with our experience is the lack of communication. The first day, I left a message via phone call, in addition, sent an email to schedule service. The second day, I called and left a message. No response from either day. I looked on their website to see if they were closed down for any reason and there is nothing to indicate that they were on vacation, family emergency, etc. I hope everything is well but in this day and age it is too easy for people to communicate. From my end, I am thinking that they have enough customers and don't need anymore. Or, they just don't care. Time to move on to someone who would like to have our business.
