Woman yelling at herself and flinging an umbrella…read morearound*** UPDATE BELOW Unfortunately this review has nothing to do with the food, or the regular employees who help us here-- all of which is typically a great experience. Rather, this review is about the experience my husband and I had there today when we went inside to eat our food. We had ordered, paid, and just sat down when a woman came in through the door after just burning weird incense or something, which I believe also had caught her jacket on fire. She was standing outside the doors closest to the register and had a ton of smoke coming off of her/around her. Not kidding, it looked like a small fire. Not a vape, or a cigarette, like a literal small fire amount of smoke. She then walked past the registers, and brought a TERRIBLE burnt smell in with her, walked straight into the bathrooms carrying an umbrella, bags, etc, and after about 10 minutes exited the bathrooms. She began pointing her umbrella side to side, saying things that were hard to make sense of and then left. About 15 minutes later she came back inside and came and sat right behind me, my husband, and our infant. I immediately got up, went and told the staff, and asked for a manager just so this could get taken care of as there were other CHILDREN inside the Canes. She started yelling and talking to herself, and pulled out a big bottle of pills started taking them right there on a table that families are supposed to be eating at. My husband witnessed this as he was trying to box up our food to go. I don't know what happened, but I'm typing this review as I sit in the parking lot with the food that I ordered. And I haven't seen her exit yet. The manager was just standing there, tables away as we exited and we didn't actually see him go approach her. I'll update my review if this gets resolved in any way, but I don't feel like I was taken seriously on this matter. Rather that I was just trying to complain which wasn't my intention. It was for the safety of not only myself and my family, but the other people there. You cannot allow people to come and do drugs at a table where there are children just feet away. If I saw her, I know others did. And I just don't appreciate that it wasn't handled before I had to go to the counter and say something. And honestly I'm unsure if it was handled at all. As an establishment you have an obligation to make your customers feel comfortable and safe, and I feel like that was not a priority today. $40 down the drain for some BS experience. UPDATE: She was sitting outside as we left the parking lot at one of the tables and as we drove by, we saw her walking back inside to the back corner table inside. So it was obvious that no one actually took us seriously or made her leave for the safety of anyone inside. Today, Monday, December 22, I got in contact with Cane's customer service and I was given 3 vouchers for box combos. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and nice, and I do appreciate the concern that was expressed over the phone, I just still wish the entire experience wouldn't have occurred. It caused me to get upset at the table and not even want to continue eating before she came in the second time. What was supposed to be a relaxing lunch out with my husband turned out to be anything but. I also didn't appreciate the laughs and snickers behind the counter from most of the staff. So yes-- I got my money back from yesterday in the form of vouchers, and customer service is forwarding this to a different higher up team, but it honestly shouldn't have even had to get that far yesterday. Their food is great, don't get me wrong. I love cane's. The service is always friendly there at this location, and the chicken is cooked to where it's perfectly crispy. 10/10 on all of that. No complaints there. But I'm not sure I can go back to this location after that. My husband made a great point yesterday. She's just sitting there taking a handful of pills at that table and some unsuspecting family is supposed to come along after she leaves to sit and eat at the same table that just happened at? No thanks.

    We saw this rude female employee throw a drink on this lady for asking her not to be rude to her…read more The employee was rude from the start, you could tell she had an attitude and was hostile. After throwing the drink the manager (I think) held the employee back but didn't do anything for the woman that had her drink thrown on her. Then we find out on fit fam that the manager isn't giving the woman the employees name, it's disgusting to treat someone like that just because you're having a bad day or don't like your job. And it's equally as disgusting as a manager to allow that to happen and withhold the information no matter how old the employee is. Will never come to this location again. I'll drive further for a better sonic.

    IF I COULD LEAVE A ZERO I WOULD! my tia went today and ordered two drinks and from the VERY start…read morethe employee (which was a young lady) who was taking her order had an attitude . the employee could not hear her and had my Tia repeat the order three times, which was ONLY TWO DRINKS. When my Tia got to the window to pay, the employee snatched her card from her and slammed the window . When the employee came back to hand her the drinks, one of the drinks were incorrect, so my Tia let her know and told the employee she did not need to have an attitude. The employee came back, took the wrong drink back and practically threw the correct drink to my Tia . So my Tia tried to catch it and ended up crushing the cup a little on the side to keep in from falling in her car. Thats when the employee took the original incorrect drink and THREW IT AT HER! ALL OVER HER CAR , INSIDE AND OUT, IN MY TIA'S FACE , EVERYWHERE! My tia threw back what was left of the drink, AS THE MANAGER WAS HOLDING THE EMPLOYEE BACK FROM ANY FUTHER ASSAULT TO HAPPEN TO MY TIA! she took off because she was scared and COVERED completely in the drink. We called Sonic and spoke to assistant manager Josue, and the MAIN MANAGER, said they could not give us the name of the employee who threw the drink and said she was already let go , however we need the information of that young lady to continue pressing charges. We already spoke with corporation, we filed a police report, and corporate said they are already investigating the situation. we are not going to let this go , These managers are trying to protect this employee even though, THEIR EMPLOYEE ASSAULTED MY TIA! Obviously this sonic location does NOT care about their customers and cannot control their employees!
