I grew up a mile from a Weigel's and used to frequent there with my parents for gas and snacks. I have always had pleasant interactions with Weigel's since childhood. Coming to this one makes me nostalgic for the smaller, neighborhood one where we could buy milk by the jug and come back for refills! I bought a lot of Willie Wonka candy back in my day. I like how the staff yells a welcome to you when you walk in the door, a show of Southern hospitality! This location is robust, kind of like QT in Atlanta.
