They sell gyro's - some sub sandwiches (like I said, depends on who is working) pizza, chicken wings, fried pork chops and a couple of other things. If you got a taste late night for philly cheese sandwich and you don't want Subway, they fix a pretty decent philly cheese. The liquor store across the street has the best prices on Crown in the metro, so that is my reason for stopping over this way. Not great, not bad - but I am a big supporter of mom and pop/grease spoon eateries.

I really wish Yelp had smell-o-vision because those smells were insane. Fish was seasoned and breaded well. Their french fries and fried okra, though not as bomb as the fish, were pretty good, too. Or any plant based milk anywhere in the store. I ordered a dinner from the deli. It was a three wing dinner with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and chicken tetrazzini. The wings were super small and smelled weird. They tasted weird too. It was almost like they were frozen beside a weird smelling item and the smell infused through them. I could not eat them. The chicken tetrazzini was ok. The sauce was a bit watery and it could have used more seasoning. The cheese also appeared to be cheap aftermarket cheese. Probably not even full cheese but a cheese substitute. The mashed potatoes were absolutely awful. They were obviously made from boxed mashed potatoes and the used water and not milk or butter. Or salt. They had no flavor. Whatsoever. And were horribly Bland. Having a piggy wiggly there certainly beats not having any grocery store at all and from the the number of people there it is desperately needed. But I did not care for the selection or the hot food.

I went inside, stood in line until the lady at the register that I was here for online order ok over there didn't ask for my name or nothing. People came in made orders picked them up left they were delivering order left and right and at 8:20 PM, I think they could see the frustration on my face because one of the ladies in the back asked me what was the name on my order? I told her and the guy looked up on the shelf along with about five other bags that were sitting there and there was my bag. I took it and left when I got to the car. It was ice cold. These folks don't even try. But as I said, what do you expect? its Jackson, Mississippi, Sunday night and the people just don't care. Sorry Five Guys, your places are normally top-notch, but y'all need a severe house cleaning here. Maybe you can get some people that actually act like they are there to work. The sad part about this is I went to this particular FGs even though I had read the reviews! I thought, nah, can't be that bad. I stand corrected "with a $20 bag of ice cold food."

Also it wasn't the cleanest when we came. We literally had to wipe down our own table to sit down and eat. Service was just okay too. Cashier wasn't very welcoming which is maybe the reason why I felt $40 was crazy. Who knows. Won't be back anytime soon though.
