Walked in and found a counter loaded with smoked sausages and hot dogs, chili, fried pork chops, mac and cheese, cooked ribs and BBQ hash (I am certain I have left out something). Had to try the hot dog chili so got a chili sausage dog. Glanced over and saw the only other person in the place had a plate full of home cut fries which I knew I had to try. Both were as good as you could ever hope for and are the kind you don't find except in the wild. The owner was a friendly sort of fellow who enjoyed telling me they were ranked Number 6 in the nation on some roadside diner list of Top 25. I ended up taking home a package of homemade breakfast sausage which got eaten for breakfast Saturday. Tomorrow I shall do better . . .
