The restaurant is decorated nicely and has made good use of colour to enhance it. It is nicely situated on the high street no far from the bars and clubs in Crawley. Most disconcerting however was the supernatural green of the king prawn caldine, clearly imparted by green food coloring. The result was that the prawn themselves had phosphorescent green color that was not at all appealing. I don't know if the restaurant ran out of green curry paste or coriander or why they felt obligated to put so much artificial coloring in the dish, but it definitely detracted from my enjoyment of the meal.

There are many delicious meals to be had here, a few a little dry but all in all very good meals made. The service here isn't as excellent as I would have liked compared to some of it's local competitors but still wasn't awful. I recommend ordering some Bombay Aloo as this is very nice. It is a very large restaurant as it has expanded recently and this can sometimes falter the atmosphere but doesn't affect the food.

Fortunately we walked in early enough to get a table for two without reservations. However I highly recommend calling ahead during prime hours. However, if you must wait a bit they will likely bring out a serving of tea to bide you over. We ordered the dinner for two and could not believe the variety, flavors, and portions. The naan was amazing as one would expect. The chicken, rice, lamb and sauce was filled with flavor, spice, and and diversity. I'm not sure one could find anything to disagree with. However, I've yet to share the best part! The hosts and servers made the evening unforgettable! (I won't share all the details so you can engage and discover your own surprises.) as in true afghan style, we were greeted warmly at the start and felt like family when time to leave. They enjoyed us dining with them as much as we enjoyed all they offered. Overall we experienced a delicious and peaceful night out, filled with new friends, tastes and memories.
