He understood exactly what we were looking for and fully executed. He was very flexible as we had to change dates due to covid without any extra charges. The package pricing is also unbeatable - for other photographers we looked into pricing for just wedding photos was the same or more compared to our package with NG Studio which included our engagement shoot, photo and video for the wedding (with Nour another photographer and two videographers + a drone), one full album, two smaller albums for our families, and 3 USB drives. For our engagement shoot, I was able to coordinate with Nour ahead of time to get both photos and video footage of me surprising my husband with his early wedding gift. We loved the engagement session since we were able to get to know Nour better and get more comfortable in front of the camera. He was so helpful by providing us with poses. For our actual wedding, I was nervous about being able to get all 80+ of my relatives in a group photo but Nour's team was able to get the shot! Nour is incredibly accommodating and so friendly. They gave us a link to our full gallery 4 weeks after our wedding. If you're also going with video, I'd recommend selecting or at least considering which ~10 songs you'd like for your video since my husband and I were slow about picking them. I hired William Michael of Heathwood Photography for an event and we signed a contract. He requested that his fee be paid in full before the event, which I did. Everything went on smoothly during the event and I thought that the relatively high price he charged was paying off with good quality and service. That was until the date I was due to receive the photos. The contract stated that I was to receive the photos within 8 weeks. This seemed like a long period of time but I was assured that it was the maximum amount of time, that it usually takes less time, and that it was in order to allow the highest quality of work done on the photos. To make a long story short, when the due date arrived I did not receive the photos. When I contacted William, he told me the photos were not ready and kept putting me off with vague timelines. This went on for close to a month. When I mentioned the contract stated 8 weeks William was unimpressed and just flat out told me it would take longer. Only when I started to suspect I was scammed and start looking into lawyers did I finally get the photos, close to 3 months after the event. Before the event, he showed me various album options I could get my photos in, but when I asked about albums I did not get a response. I decided to cut my loses and get one elsewhere. In summary, William Michael comes through as a very honest and reliable individual but unfortunately that is not the case. He did not respect our contract and caused me lots of stress and aggravation. I would strongly discourage anyone from using his services.

Then, we found Brooklyn Wedding Videography and they were AWESOME. The work is high quality, Robert captured everything we wanted for our special day and then some. He also was early to arrive at the hotel and then traveled to the venue, he captured every bit of our getting ready process through the end of the night and was constantly on the dance floor capturing some of the best moments during the reception. He used various camera angles and captured absolutely everything. Delisa was also amazing with the editing process and communicating with us about things we wanted/didn't want in our edits. We received our trailer and longer video very quickly and Delisa always helped us with making any changes we wanted to music, cuts, etc. You also receive all of the raw footage too which is amazing and something that many places don't offer. Overall, BkWV was awesome and the work is very high quality and beautiful. Where did you find him?" and "Do you know if he will travel for weddings on the West Coast?". We first worked with Ryan about a year ago, for our engagement photos. We chose him for his artistic photos and for his talent at capturing movement and emotion. (check out his website to see what I mean...) I had very specific ideas about where I wanted our photos taken and he kindly followed us around Union Square, Chelsea, and the West Village, humoring all of my requests. We had fun posing for a couple hours until the sun set, and a few weeks later had hundreds of great pictures to show for it. We haven't seen all the photos from our wedding day yet, but Ryan put a preview slide-show up during our reception to many oohs and ahhhs of our guests. I can't wait to see the full set of photos!! As if everything else wasn't amazing enough, when my wedding dress ripped during the reception, Ryan swooped in and saved the day with a sewing kit! One of the most amazing things about Ryan on our wedding day was that I never noticed him. He didn't intrude in the ceremony or in our fun in any way, yet after the event, when looking at my friends photos, I noticed he was there, always right up in the action. That is talent! Heartbroken, I located Jose who was able to provide a Facebook Live Stream of the service so we did not miss a minute. It was beautifully photographed off his iPhone and captured all the elements of the church service.
