It's a great spot to catch movies. We don't go to the theatre often, but when we do we usually come here. I think the key is to go when it's not a busy time; we have been the only ones in the theatre on some occasions and we have been with max 10 people other times. (When there were only ten people filling the theatre, someone still chose to sit next to me which I found extremely odd but that's a "people" issue and not the theatre's (sigh/haha). All in all, it's a decent spot if you're willing to pay theatre prices to see current movies. read more

The good: Tuesdays are $8 all day. The matinee prices are $8. Seats are large and cushy. The bad: There's a weird smell upon entry. The popcorn is extremely salty. The ugly: IMAX was open for the movie we wanted to watch but the air conditioning was broken. It was unbearably hot and stuffy. Luckily we were able to catch a regular showing. Oh mon dieu il y a-il moins de 1 étoile comme option... cet endroit est tellement horrible (Terrebonne, Qc Mega-Plex)... vous avez des fuites dans l'entrée, je suppose qu'il vient du toit. Une fois à l'intérieur, les toilettes sont dégoûtantes et cassées, et une fois brisées, elles resteront ainsi pour toujours car elles ne seront jamais réparées. Les fontaines d'eau dont on peut boire sont... ne les utilisez pas, elles sont dégoûtantes et n'ont certainement jamais été nettoyées. Alors quand vous voulez obtenir le maïs soufflé, bien si vous aimez le vieux maïs soufflé vous êtes gâté... si vous voulez des barres de chocolat ou n'importe quels types de bonbons, bien les comptoirs sont juste vides, alors apportez votre propre, probablement plus sûr de cette façon.. Les arcades, bien 2 sur 3 sont juste défectueux et hors d'ordre... Ok donc maintenant quand vous entrez dans le théâtre ... Désolé ça empire... les sièges sont défoncés et on a l'impression de s'asseoir dans un trou, sans parler des accoudoirs qui sont plus fixé a rien et tout simplement un danger (attention)... Alors vous me demandez pourquoi je continue à y aller, eh bien vivant au nord de Montréal nous n'avons pas beaucoup de choix quand il s'agit de cinémas et puis mélanger cela avec le film que vous voulez voir... First of all, in Theatre 7, the lights illuminating the stair were off. We came in before the movie and credits started and it was pitched black. You could not see the seats. People were using their phones. This is a safety hazard The theatre was hot, stuffy and muggy. Very unpleasant when the humidex outside was 38C! The bathrooms were filthy and 2 out of 3 soap dispensers were empty; the 3rd one was almost empty. read more

Such a disappointing experience tonight at cinema Guzzo des sources. We came at 6:50 for a 7:15 movie. "25 minutes is more than enough time"... So we thought... The line was out the door on both sides and only two of the four ticket booths were open. I find it so rude that there are tons of people in line and they don't have the courtesy to open another line. There were 4 employees just inside the theatre waiting to check the tickets. This obviously caused an absurdly long line. I only got to the front at .7:20. This theatre doesn't sell tickets online so if you come to come here, make sure you plan to come way early if you want to see your movie on a busy night. The theatre itself was renovated a few years ago and is relatively clean. Snacks are overpriced but similar to other theatres. The bathrooms were extremely dirty. Will try to avoid coming here in the future. read more

Came on a Saturday night, really no complaints. Pricing is reasonable and the seats are plush and large. Handles do not come up and you may want to switch positions because your butt can go numb. They have a small arcade inside including bumper cars but I did not see it in action. Overall enjoyed our experience. Note: only ENGLISH is played for the language at this location. read more

The only good thing about Cinema Guzzo is that the average price to see a movie is 8$. It's 4$ cheaper compared to Cineplex. Other then that this movie theatre is really bad: 1) They don't show lots of the popular movies that are currently playing. 2) The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. The toilet seats in the majority of the bathrooms have brown stains on them and there is always a horrific smell in there 3) They don't have lots of rooms (theatres) in the building. Only around 8, and there is always very limited seating in all of them. Thinking of seeing a popular movie at this theatre? Well you better come 30 minutes earlier to get a decent seat. 4) The arcade area is just depressing. All of their games are very run down & none of the lights work. In my honest opinion, I would recommend choosing Cineplex over Guzzo next time you want to see a movie. read more

I must say that I have been going to Guzzo for years now and have noticed the place not being as clean as it was, chairs have to be replaced as well. Some of them are falling apart. Food court is ok. Some people might find it pricey but I don`t expect anything to be cheap when it comes to theatres. I do think that your cleaning staff has to step up as the theatres are often not cleaned as thoroughly as they could be and the bathrooms are really dirty. Every time I've gone to this theater it's gotten worst and worst. The facility is dirty, the food is less than desirable and the latest was the 3D movie that was not 3D and we watched a good 10 minutes before it was fixed. The staff are all very young so I'm not shocked that it's not maintained properly. read more

I usually dislike going to Guzzo cinemas as the cinematic experience is lacking without today's option of reserved seats, buying tickets online instead of waiting in line for no discernible reason and watching movies in the older Guzzo theaters that have seen far better days (unconformable, broken seats, dirty and grimy). But when I came here, I watched a movie in the new IMAX theater and it is HUGE! The audio was impressive and the quality of image the best I've seen. I was very impressed. IF it weren't for the lame wait at the start wasting nearly 10 minutes of my life and a few of my friends taking one for the team and waiting in front of the line for 45 minutes, I'd have rated the experience 5 stars. Get on with it Guzzo, upgrade your stuff. read more

I used to go to this cinema years ago before they had the new IMAX theatre, at that time, the theatres were relatively small in size (compared to other cinemas), but it was adequate considering it was cheaper than other places as well... I've recently gone back and experienced their new IMAX theatre, I have to say, it was amazing. It's what you would expect from an IMAX theatre, the seats are very comfortable as well, and the place was very clean. An extra plus is their matinee prices! An IMAX movie is $8 if you go before 6pm (i think?) so if you want to save a buck and still have a great experience, huge plus! The same price for seniors at any time of the day, any day of the week. The only downside is that you can't buy your tickets online, and no reserved seating. Hopefully it'll come in the future! read more

Since the Guzzo Cinema on Cote Vertu is not listed, I will review it here. The place is a dump, filthy, and badly in need of an upgrade. We went to a 7pm movie last night, full house, and the air conditioning was not working. It was like a sauna in there. We reported this to one of the kids working outside our theatre and he said he would report it to the manager, nothing happened. Several patrons gathered outside after the movie ended and complained. Aside from this experience, the common area floors are covered in popcorn and other garbage, the carpets are filthy, the bathrooms stink, the hand dryers very old and are either broken or don't work well unless you have a half hour to spare. And oh yes, even the popcorn sucks. We have been to movies at the Sources theatre as well, about the same. Go to another movie theatre chain if you want to enjoy your night out. read more

Went to Guzzo Des Sources and had a horrible experience and won't return again. The seats were filthy, covered in stains and popcorn. The floors in multiple rows were sticky as well. To top it off the screen had a 10x6 foot (estimate) streak on it and it ruined the movie. Never again. read more
