    Theater

The movie theater was sooooo cold . Asked three people employees to warm up the temperature and they kept it cold.

    Kim C.

The good: Lots of free parking, milkshakes, new hot sandwiches, Chipotle chicken quesadilla, chicken pesto caprese sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich, all coming soon. The sound seems louder here. The bad: No reclining chairs. No table on chairs. Very limited drink selection. Expensive pizza. No extra butter available. No French fries. No alcohol, No Starbucks.

Super clean theater. I came in for a December screening. Great spot for an early morning show.

If I buy my tickets online my seats are reserved for sure of someone else can take them without permission?

When you reserve specific seats online, they are reserved for you when you arrive. You must be on time. I believe they hold them for 15 minutes once the show starts.

This was not something we planned on, and it was nice to see. 2) The venue is extremely cut-off from the noise of the outside world. Aside from the occasional jet flying overhead, we heard no sirens, no traffic, and no rowdy groups of people going by during the ceremony. That's really about it in terms of perks. The flowers were amazing and add an element of elegance to the whole thing. Overall I would highly recommend the venue to anyone else. One word of warning- the summer weekends book FAST there, so if you're thinking about summer wedding, pull the trigger quickly when you've chosen a date, and have a couple backup dates in mind.

We had an intimate group of 34 which felt perfect at The Perry House (though they can certainly accommodate much larger groups than ours). The venue itself has so much coastal charm already that you don't feel overwhelmed with needing to infuse a lot of personality through decor. At the same time, it can still be transformed with florals and any additional decor elements. It was truly the best of both worlds. Our venue provided coordinator Alyssa was fantastic to work with! She answered so many of our questions and was always quick to respond over email. The catering provided by the venue was phenomenal and all of our guests raved about the food. We went with the New York steak and tarragon crusted salmon as our entrees and they were even better than we remembered at our tasting. Since we had a small guest count we even got to add on a slew of extra desserts to reach our food and beverage minimum and additional decor/rental items which was great because it felt like every dollar went towards something. They were even accommodating to our specific signature cocktail requests which were off-menu and our specific NA beer requests. Everything the day of the wedding went smoothly and without a hitch. We cannot recommend The Perry House enough to anyone looking for a charming, Monterey wedding.

Bray performed solo with just his guitar and vocals, and what impressed me most was the incredible range of music he covered. His set moved effortlessly across decades and styles--from Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, and Lionel Richie to David Bowie, Simple Minds, Howard Jones, The Romantics, Georgia Satellites, and more. Some of my favorites included "Folsom Prison Blues," "As the World Falls Down," "You Spin Me Round," "No One Is to Blame," "Don't You (Forget About Me)," "Sundown," and a beautiful rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon." The warm, elegant atmosphere of the hotel lobby was a perfect setting for Bray's acoustic performance. He has a wonderful ability to take familiar songs and make them his own while still preserving what made us love them in the first place. What I particularly appreciate about Bray is his versatility. Whether he is performing with a full band or standing alone with a guitar, he knows how to read a room, connect with an audience, and create an atmosphere that makes you want to stay and listen. Another thoroughly enjoyable performance. If you have an opportunity to see Bray live--or are looking for a talented, professional, and versatile musician for a venue or private event--I highly recommend him. Looking forward to the next one! https://www.facebook.com/braygurnari

From the moment you begin planning until the last guest leaves the dance floor, Rhett and his family are incredibly hands-on, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your event a success. It's truly a family affair, with Rhett, his wife, son, and daughter all pitching in to make everything feel seamless. One of the things that sets Wave Street Studios apart is how effortlessly the space transforms throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed dinner, then the room transitioned beautifully into a lively dance floor without missing a beat. The lighting, technology, and overall atmosphere create a magical experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Rhett also coordinated seamlessly with one of their preferred catering partners, Fire on Wheels Pizza, who not only served fantastic food but even created a custom signature mocktail just for our event. It was such a thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Hosting a nonprofit gala requires countless moving pieces, and having a venue partner who anticipates needs, solves problems before they arise, and truly cares is invaluable. Wave Street Studios does exactly that. Add in the tremendous value for everything that's included, and it's hard to imagine a better event venue on the Monterey Peninsula. What we especially love is that it doesn't feel like another generic hotel ballroom. The space has personality, warmth, and a sense of place that made our guests feel like they were part of something truly special. It created an experience--not just an event. If you're looking for a unique venue for a fundraiser, wedding, corporate event, or celebration, I can't recommend Wave Street Studios highly enough. We look forward to coming back again.
