Best movie popcorn, no butter. Large gets you a refill to share.

Excellent job on renovations. New chairs that recline. Place looks clean. Popcorn very good and freshly popped.

Prices are fair, theatre is always clean and staff is friendly. I come here all of the time with my family or just myself. They have lot of stalls in the bathroom which is great. Every time I have their popcorn, its warm .

New seats in Hazlet Cinemark (December 2024)

The new seats are extremely uncomfortable. Almost to the point of being painful. The old seats were wonderful and allowed you to adjust the position of your back and your legs separately. Otherwise, I'd give this theatre 4 stars. Everything else in the theatre is good. But now I don't want to go to this theatre anymore. And we used to go all the time. I'm very disappointed.

It's good to be back... In summary Social Distancing at the theater. Yes, to play it safe I ordered tickets through my Fandango app. Picking out our seats these days is pretty easy. A simple matinee show just to play it safe during the week. Never been to this theater before so I arrived a little early. You can still go to the concession stand for snacks, but currently credit cards only. No cash in these current times. In the theater itself reclining seats as always. It's a little dated, but only allowing 16 seats total. Every other row is blocked off, plus only two are able to sit together. Look, I've always enjoyed going to the movies. This one is pretty close to our home. Just couldn't resist. Prices are reasonable for movies and snacks. Oh, and noticed they are building a Chick-fil-A right next door. Enjoy the show (849).

Brought my 8 year old sister to see Puss in boots at on december 28th. When ordering popcorn for her the cashier got butter all down the sides of the bags. I politely asked if I could have a new bag to transfer the popcorn so she wouldn't get butter all over herself. The cashier was extremely rude and said it was because we asked for butter halfway through and it seeped through, that is not the case. I showed him that there was butter all over the sides at the top of the bag. He refused to give me a new bag or provide any solution to the situation other than a bad attitude and told me to use a napkin to clean it. That obviously was no match for the butter and she has since ruined her new jacket she got for Christmas. Seems like nobody wants to work these days or show an ounce of professionalism. It cost $0 to be accommodating and kind. Should've gone to AMC.

I love the fact that that Cinemark has movie viewing during the daytime, sometimes before 10am on Monday- Friday. I'm loving it

He always liked dinosaurs and was a nerd about it, like did quizzes and shit about naming each dinosaur and it's bones or whatever. I thought the movie was interesting but he hated it. He said it was all too "fake". I tried to explain that it was computer generated and fake anyway but he wouldn't shut up about all the details and whatnot. I am just having a bad week. He made it worse and the movie made it worse. Very nice employees and very dirty bathroom. I snuck in a Wawa sub and a tall souvenir soda from Six Flags because I hate paying for that dogshit that they sell. I love this place and There was dinosaurs is the movie

The line moved pretty quickly for concessions and we were able to get our popcorn and refill with ease. They had a great selection of collectible popcorn buckets and cups. The seats were comfortable and had the reclining feature. I also thought the screen and audio quality for the films were decent. Cleanliness at this theater is not the best. The main concessions area had a bunch of spills, and my cup holder in one of the theaters was pretty gross. I will say, the bathroom was pretty clean and I didn't have any issues finding a stall. I would consider coming back to this theater with my A-List subscription, but it's definitely not my favorite AMC. While the seating was comfortable, cleanliness wasn't great, and they didn't have as many food options as dine-in AMCs.

Hello Darlings…read more.. Hubs and I stepped out in Asbury today! Glory! First time at this theater on Cookman Ave and without further ado we must get to the matter at hand... It's right off Main St between the Cookman Creamery and The Speakeatery (review forthcoming). It's a small, three-auditorium cinema. Each theater has a capacity of roughly 70 seats, with about 6 or 7 rows. The screen is appropriately sized for the space and the sound quality is nice. It's comfortable, clean, and very tasteful. A Sunday matinee sees about $13 per ticket (seniors $11) for first-run films. The concession stand has the standbys in addition to some prepared by local businesses on the thoroughfare. Unless you're following Your Host's Low-Carb Life, please take advantage of their concessions, as this is apparently the main avenue of the theater's profit margin, which in turn, keeps them in business. The only peeve Your Host has is the number of previews you get exposed to before the main feature. Fortunately darlings, that's far fewer than what you get when you head out to the major multiplexes...those seem to go on for ever and a day... Overall, our debut visit to The Showroom was marvelous nonetheless. They will be taking over the Beach Cinema in Bradley Beach in the coming weeks, and we look forward to visiting them at that location when it opens. Oh yes...Jonathan...have you been here? TTFN
