You'll eventually find yourself falling asleep on her table. I don't get massages very often, but I love it when I go to Michelle, she can read your body and knows when its too much with out having to say a word. Nothing sucks more than having to snap out of your relaxed state to tell your massuese that he or she is putting too much pressure on the area they're working on. I have not gone to her new location in Port Moody but I am looking forward to it. Nothing against her, and I understand it's out of her control, but the stomping from her upstairs kids ruins the experience a bit. I'm a bit thrilled she got out of that old location

During the past two weeks I have had a massage at your new Port Coquitlam office and one in my own home in Coquitlam. Because I was able to crawl into bed immediately after the latter massage I had so much more pain relief and better sleep afterwards. Trying to do too much after such a deep tissue massage was my mistake and then because I was out in the rain that day I didn't drink near enough water! I'm just glad you are back near Vancouver so that I can return to getting weekly/biweekly massages! Thanks Michelle

I have never seen my energetic and chaotic sons so calm and relaxed! Gizella had an amazingly personable, genuine, warm and kind way with the boys that made them feel immediately comfortable with her. She seemed to really be able to talk to them on their level and connect with them. My wife and I have had many massages over the years across the world and both of us agreed that Gizella is one of the best masseuses we have ever had. She is incredibly intuitive and can feel where your stress or tension is held so can cater the massage to your needs without the need for any verbal communication! Her touch is amazing and must be a natural skill she is blessed with, but you can also tell she is incredibly experienced in her field and she gave me several tips to help ease tension in my neck on a daily basis. I was a little skeptical about the in-home experience, but Gizella is so personable it was never awkward at all. And means we don't have to pay for a babysitter when we need to go out and have a massage. We will be booking Gizella again for sure!

She was very professional. My friends loved her massages and enjoyed her company. An excellent experience, I highly recommend her services and would definitely hire her again!

If you are looking for a registered massage therapist in order to get medical insurance coverage…read moreand reimbursement Oceana has limited options. Of their 7 therapists, only 1 is an RMT. Their certified bodyworkers charge the same rates as register massage therapist - $150 for 75 mins, $125 for 60 min massage. Normally certified bodyworkers at other establishments charge $80-$100 an hour. Example: Barefoot Oasis Spa 1 block away only charges $80 an hour. So while they are clean and professional, my qualm is that they are way over priced for bodywork service they provide. Tip: Make sure you shop around on price and quality.

I asked how her day was going, and she basically said she usually doesn't work Saturday's and so was not that keen on it but people want to use their insurance before the end of the year so she was kind of forced to do it. Okay. Then the massage started at 6 minutes late with static holds. Basically she was manually stretching me. It was mildly relaxing but given her first comment it seemed like she was preserving energy. A couple times during the massage she stopped entirely. (I think she was taking bites out of a wrap?). The massage wrapped up on the hour, so I paid for 60 minutes, got 54 of pack-lustre massage. Sorry. Can't recommend this place. Also the bathroom was dingy. There were no paper towels to dry my hands. She told me to use Kleenex, that's what it was there for.
