App: Nothing useful (can't sign up for classes, as an example) except for scanning your membership card on arrival. Amenities: Three lane pool. Functional. Equipment: I've yet to use a cardio or weight machine that needs servicing or calibrating. I've not seen any that were out of order. They could use additional cable tv stations - there are about four total. They have a wide range of free weights, benches, and weight machines. Cleanliness: Here's where they fail. The women's bathroom (not locker room) is old an consistently dirty. I've seen grossness left for a couple of days before it was cleaned up. The gym floor is obviously not swept or vacuumed regularly, either. ALSO: The spray bottles of sanitizer are often missing, empty, or filled with water in lieu of actual sanitizing spray. The paper towels were empty for two consecutive days. Environment: Zero fans over the treadmills, but plenty over the weights area - this makes no sense. And there have been days where the gym itself has been fairly hot. I normally like to work out very early in the morning and then head to the office, but the women's locker room is is hot and HUMID - fine for a Saturday or Sunday, but I can't shower, dry my hair, and put on client-appropriate clothing and not be a giant sweaty mess afterwards. (I should note here that Planet Fitness did just fine in this aspect - they didn't skimp on the AC.) Classes: Don't bother with the spin classes. The bikes are bare-bones and old. I went to a yoga class (one of the few on the schedule) and I couldn't hear a thing over the AC and the basketball court (which shares a wall with the yoga studio). The instructor was nice enough, but didn't use any of the appropriate terminology for the poses and didn't make any form corrections during the class. So I was stuck craning my neck watching what she was doing so I could mimic her. It wasn't a bad class, overall, but you REALLY need to be able to hear an instructor during yoga - craning your neck while trying to achieve a pose is a good way to hurt yourself. She provided options for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, which was great. I will try another class or two. The staff is overall friendly and responsive. Is it worth it? Sure - at this price point. Would I pay more for more amenities, etc. YES! The last major city I lived in I paid about $140/monthly, and that included towel service, a monthly locker fee, and a slew of classes including martial arts. I get that this place is an economy version of LA Fitness - if LAF were closer to my office, I would've opted to sign up there instead.

HIghly recommend Mary Hart!!!!!…read more Mary Hart is the best physical therapist I've ever been to. She really learns about the individual and gives you a specialized plan. Before Mary, nothing worked. My back always hurt me. But, Mary did an amazing evaluation and her treatment is excellent. She has taught me how to properly move my body so I don't get aches and pains. She has kept my back pain free for 10 years. She's also worked on my broken arm last year and my twisted ankle the year before. I now sit properly, walk properly and sleep properly. Who knew I had so much to learn. She concentrates on the central nervous system which a lot of physical therapists don't. It's key. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARY HART AND 'The Hart Technique.'

I love the concept. The slow reps on the safe equipment with a trainer makes sense for an aging…read morepopulation that goes there. Not having people trying to pick up other people in spandex is nice also. This does cater to the very old crowd. I had a trainer named Alaina and she's now out on maternity leave for three months so I kind of miss her because she is my perfect cuppa tea. Replacement is a bit rougher on my nerves. He would be fine for somebody else. I'm building strength very quickly and I go twice a week. They are cheaper with the trainer than what I used to pay at LA fitness for a trainer 10 or 15 years ago. All in all when I have the work with very easily then I would say I would give it five stars but with the current substitute guy who is a little bit of a micromanagement to me, which is annoying then it's three stars. You have to really pick the trainer that is Tea is what it boils down to. I've built a lot more strength and, you know compared to a lot of people that go there I would be considered younger and I'm 67, but it works for me. The owner is a real levelheaded person that really keeps an eye on her business and she knows what she's doing and I really like that.it's a bit of a bag but it's only because I have a substitute trainer, but my trainer is back in July. I'll be once again a very happy camper.
