Whole spices. Hot food. Snacks. Frozen and shelf stable items from South Asia and the middle east…read more What else you need? This spot has been a godsend for finding all the spices I need to keep my home kitchen stocked. For reference, here's just a small slice of what I regularly pick up from International Foods and Spices because I cook way too much pho, jerk chicken, lemongrass beef, and al pastor: Allspice Clove Cumin Annatto/Achiote Cinnamon (both cassia and regular) Coriander Various peppercorns Anise Star Anise Bay leaf Garam masala whole spice mix (and preground) Fenugreek (methi) Dried peppers Kashmiri chili powder ... and much much more! That's not even counting the staples like tahini, ghee, and various nuts, grains, dried beans, and other things. The only thing I'd say I wish they had more of was a better fresh herb selection. One quarter to half of the flavor in my cooking comes from fresh herbs, and if they had thai basil, mint, and other things like that regularly, it'd truly be a one stop shop for flavor. If you make flavorful food, International Food and Spices has got your back. And pick up a samosa and some saag while you're at it.

I love their selection and prices, both for staples and spices as well as prepared and easy prep…read morefoods. I go make the trip to West Philly about once a month to stock up.
