The food is simply amazing. Very tastefully done good quality portions. Everything tastes fresh. And the jalapeño salsa is jaw dropping good.

Delicious food! We ordered the taco salad and a burrito and both of them were so good! We loved the piña colada was good too! Service was amazing and I loved the vibe!

Food, service, and decor are great. We went mid-afternoon and so it was pretty quiet but I would guess that it gets really busy at other times. The food we had was delicious and everything else we saw brought out for people looked great. The server also kept an eye on us to make sure everything was good. Good selection of margaritas too.

Ordered the Birria tacos (delicious, especially with their inhouse-made salsas. Unique menu holder, we sat on the Dia de los muertos boxing ring inspired outside patio. Staff was super friendly, kudos! Red and green salsas were good, combining them was also great. Will be back.

    Vegetarian burrito--very flavorful.

Ambience was hip, service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. This has been one of the best meals we've had in Puerto Rico.

    Burrito - Amazing!!

I am vacationing in PR and wanted to find a good place to eat. Of course I checked Yelp and was not disappointed! For starters, the service is absolutely amazing. So kind, patient and gave good recommendations. Our server was a delight. Secondly, the Burrito El Luchador - the best burrito I've had! The burrito had three meats in it, rice and a bunch of other yummy goodness. A must try! Dessert was also a winner! The churros were fantastic!! The food was hands down my favorite meal in PR thus far. However, the service was even better than the food. The owner of the restaurant came by and asked how things were, had a conversation with us and recommended some amazing beaches and other locations to try. Not only did he recommended that he places, he showed us pics and gave great directions to the spots. If you are looking for a great place to eat, Cinco de Maya is the place to go!

The servers are super friendly. The food is plentiful. You will leave with a smile and a full belly. The decorations are pretty and colorful. Very modern. Just keep in mind this isn't authentic Mexican food. But it is delicioussss. Our waiter Alejandro was super sweet and quick. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

    Bad chicken

Horrible, pre made chicken, very dry. Not even the chips are worth going here. If you like this place then you've never had a Descent Mexican meal. Chipotle is soooo much better than this! Skip it, you'll be glad you saved the money!

While we waited, the calm ambience turned to karaoke bar vibes, as two singers dressed as Mexican Mariachis started singing with backing tracks indoors at an incredibly high volume. So much so that, when given the choice of where to sit, we chose to dine outdoors (even though it was hot). We ordered our drinks right away, which were delicious (Mango Margarita - $10 and a Mangonada -$16) and served with complimentary chips and salsa. After that, we put in our order: Tijuanas' Dip, Veggie Enchiladas, and Sopes Tijuana. The server came back with the dip around 15 minutes later and told me that the kitchen had just shared they were out of Sopes. She was frustrated and apologetic so I was quick to choose some Tacos al Pastor instead (thinking they'd be quicker than anything else). The dip was teacup tiny; like, it hilariously small. The taste was good, but not enough to justify the price. We got our meal after 25 minutes or so later and when I tell you that we thought we were in a Punk'd episode, I mean every word. The enchiladas plate was very generous, but it was the side of "mexican rice" that almost made us choke on our margaritas. Same teacup plate, bland, microwaved, clumpy, and tasteless...it had to be a joke. The enchilada filling had nothing that resembled mexican flavors (amarillos, mushrooms, raw peppers) and my taco meat was hard and spicy. I asked the waiter if they had any sauce for the tacos (as they came with no onions, cilantro, or lime) and she offered green sauce. I would come to find out that they charge $2 per sauce you order on the side. I ended up eating the meat by itself, my brother left the rice and half of the enchilada fusion and spent $75 on a meal that I wouldn't serve my enemy. I had very high expectations but this place fell really short. If you don't have another choice but to dine here, just order a Blue Margarita (done without the sour mix) and take advantage of the free chips.
