So many great things to say here. First of all the place has a super great vibe with Chris as the master of ceremonies! We learned the basics of cigars and rolling our own. BEST cigar I've ever had. I was shocked at how smooth, sweet and flavorful the cigar was. Chris was very knowledgeable on the intricacies in cigars, rolling, everything. The academy offers private classes and options to bring our own beverage (I'm particular with my drinks so this was great). Dont judge the outside/location, because inside is nice, comfy chairs, and they have all the equipment we needed. Oh! And gated parking in the rear! (I love not having to search!) The overall vibe is sweet with mix of music, people, etc. Note, it did NOT smell like smoke which was a huge plus for my non smoking friend. Recommended for any level even non cigar smokers. Chris makes the whole environment feel like you are just hanging with friends learning how to make cigars. They offer a couple different classes and we will be going back for more. You can actually bring a bottle of wine or some Whiskey ( or whatever you drink) and sip while you roll. Chris also answered all of our questions and was very informative, you can tell he knows what he is doing. Awesome experience! Our master roller, Chris was informative, patient, helpful and made the class fun. He taught us the basics and we rolled all 3 of our Cuban cigars on our own as he guided us along the way. It was definitely a different and fun experience that you don't come across any where else. We brought our own whiskey but also tried his Cuban rum which was smooth with a hint of sweetness. After rolling, we got to smoke our end products and it came out pretty smooth! But Chris let me try a rum-soaked cigar that he rolled himself and damn! That was smoOOooOth!! You can definitely taste the difference between what we rolled and what he rolled...don't get me wrong, ours was smooth, but damn his cigar was on point!! And I'm no cigar smoker but that cigar was good. Overall it was such a fun experience to try something new and different. Great way to change up a typical night out! This guy Christopher is the rudest most unprofessional guy I have ever dealt with. I scheduled a cigar rolling party with him a couple of weeks ago. I called him today to confirm for this Saturday. He told me he needed more information and payment in full. With all the scams and all going around today. I inquired about the payment in full I just had a party with a professional ventriloquist about a month ago , they asked for a downpayment prior to the event and the balance on the day of the event. Christopher got all upset because I inquired about the payment in full, and wanting to know, what was my reinsurance that he would show up after being paid in advance. He told me to find another roller and hung up the phone on me. Sound like he was going to run with my money by the way he respond . Let me tell you The cost was over $800.
