Located near the headland just over the road from a park and the water it's a lovely and pretty quiet setting considering its roadside. Our coffees were okay, but nothing to get excited about. Mine was strong but didn't really have too much going for it unfortunately. The highlight for me was my warm savory breakfast muffin. Chicken, basil, tomato, cheese all in muffin goodness, served with a spicy mustard chutney (reminiscent of brinjal) & sour cream. The right sized bite for brekky that really hit the spot. The staff are friendly and with locals sitting happily reading a paper whilst they get there morning coffee hit here's hoping the quality of the coffee improves to match the locale and the relaxed setting.

I would go here just for the view so the fact that the food is amazing is just another added bonus. I had the French toast with a rosti on the side. Wow was it fantastic. French toast was cooked to perfection, bacon was the right amount of crispy, quality maple syrup and the rosti was out of this world. The breakfast roll was also delicious with a huge serving of avocado on it, crispy bacon, cheese, egg, rocket and a yummy kimchi mayonnaise. The bacon and eggs on sour dough was also delicious. The drinks were also yummy. We had a pot of tea(so good and big enough for two cups) an iced coffee ( delicious) and a hot chocolate (so rich and creamy). Staff are lovely and accommodating. Definitely Worth the drive up the mountain for this.

Now it's set a standard for fish and chips so high that it might never be lived up to. The prices are reasonable for the quantity of food you get. We ordered an array of things - crumbed cod which was HUGE and only $6.90, battered snapper which was also a decent portion, 1 of the burgers which was massive too, a serve of calamari which not only tasted great but were cooked to perfection - not even kidding! And then beer battered chips which were super yummy too. The servings were super generous and the food was fantastic! The food was so good and so perfectly cooked that it makes me scared to go to other places in the future - which is inevitable as we're not from here... Just go here when you're in the area. The staff are super friendly too and very honest and generous. I seriously couldn't be happier and I'm a fuss pot when it comes to fish and chips (or food in general).
