We went hunting for our morning coffee on day one of our holiday and thought we'd give this little cafe a try. Located near the headland just over the road from a park and the water it's a lovely and pretty quiet setting considering its roadside.
Our coffees were okay, but nothing to get excited about. Mine was strong but didn't really have too much going for it unfortunately. The highlight for me was my warm savory breakfast muffin. Chicken, basil, tomato, cheese all in muffin goodness, served with a spicy mustard chutney (reminiscent of brinjal) & sour cream. The right sized bite for brekky that really hit the spot.
The staff are friendly and with locals sitting happily reading a paper whilst they get there morning coffee hit here's hoping the quality of the coffee improves to match the locale and the relaxed setting. read more
