Kathie not only has clothes, but there are also shoes, purses, jewelry, and all sorts of adorable things. Kathie is so sweet and helpful. She easily found our sizes and let us try on some new items she had just received. What fun! I just loved how our purchases were wrapped in tissue paper and placed in the cutest little bags. Those special touches are some of the things a lady loves about shopping. So happy to have this gorgeous shop in Punta Gorda!

It was a nice surprise to see how decked up Fisherman's Village is. Def a place to get into the Christmas spirit. So many decorations and fun photo ops everywhere. We walk throughout the area, the have lots of shops, cafe, ice cream and restaurants and a tiki bar. You can also take a sunset boat tour. They also have nice water views. This is def a great place to visit for all and especially at Xmas. A new restaurant is opening the second week of January 2026 too towards the very end after all the shops. Just keep on walking. This is also dog friendly so we are happy to walk our dog here. Half is shaded half not and there is plenty of free parking in the lot next to it. 4 stars bc prices can def be tourist prices.

More likely you will be stopped and asked where you found your shoes. And although this is a small establishment, prices were as good or better than the on-line prices for the same brands. Selections ranged from about $40 to $150 dollars depending on style and material. I like genuine leather shoes and was not disappointed by the selection. You are greeted and attended by the owner, Venecia Demeck, who graciously provides the kind of service that makes you feel like a much valued long-time customer. She even offered to place custom orders for me for my favorite brand. Venecia, while new to Punta Gorda is an experienced shoe gallery owner who unfortunately lost her well-established store in Matlacha to Hurricane Ian. "Footprints In The Sand" also carries sun hats, leather purses and canvas totes at prices that are surprisingly much lower than what we've been forced to expect. This little store is a treasure for Punta Gorda and customers looking for quality, value and style without the need to go elsewhere or pay touristy prices.
