I rented a bike for two hours which cost me 40 euros which I thought was overpriced. The bike…read moremechanic did not check the inflation of the tires as I watched him do for the previous customer and treated me in a condescending manner (maybe due to my age?). Nor did he wheel the bike outside for me as he did for the previous customer. The bike (touring bike with gears) operated well but the tires were slightly under inflated. I would not recommend this shop.

The owner/repair guy trued my wheel in a red second, adjusted the brakes, and had me riding again after a meal of spaghetti and 2 glasses of wine at a nearby trattoria. Does cycling in Italy get any better? I don't think so! It's not crammed packed like some bike shops -- just a guy working his trade. But it's very cool.

Any bike part you need they have it! We were looking for bike pegs all over the center (seriously, for DAYS), we went to 6 different places and none of them carried them. Here not only did they have them, but they had two kinds! *Head explodes* The bmx tube kind of peg even came in 3 different sizes. And only about €5. Score! They also have the cushiony back seat for the bike if you ever want to ride bitch. Just don't go down Via Pandolfini unless you want a serious butt massage.
