My tour company Dancing Spirit stayed at this hotel for three nights in Sept 2025. Each night we ate the food that was prepared just for our party buffet style. We sat outdoors on the covered patio.
I would rate the food "B". The breakfasts were unremarkable.
My room I rate one star. Because the floor above me would creak and squeak and clunk with every step the lady above me would take. She later told me ( because she's with my same tour group), that she realized she would be disturbing me because every step she took creaked and clunked and squawked. She kept me awake all night and she said she had to go to the bathroom every hour, therefore the floors creaked every time she went to the bathroom. She assured me that the following night she would not be going to the bathroom so often. And she was right.
I later told the hotel manager about that room floor creaking so badly and that they needed to put a carpet there like a carpet runner. He said no one had ever complained about that room before. He said he would look into it after we checked out but there was no other room I could move to. I don't think he looked into it. But I think the creaking floors could be rectified by putting screws in the floorboards.
I had a house that used to Creek and when the carpet was being changed I had the workers put several boxes of screws in the floorboards and they didn't creak anymore.
So overall review is three stars. The atmosphere in location was really nice and I took a walk outside the property where they had great vineyards and animals. read more
