I had a great experience with Chuy's Mobile Window Tint! Chuy was professional, punctual, friendly, and made the entire process incredibly convenient by coming directly to me. The tint looks fantastic. Clean, even, and professionally installed with great attention to detail. He took the time to explain the different options and helped me choose the right tint for my vehicle without any pressure. Excellent workmanship, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. I met the owner at my work location and after a delay on my part I finally got in contact with him. My car has been stolen twice since I drive a KIA. After the second time I lagged on getting my window tinted because I was expecting the worst but luckily so far so good. I texted both numbers and got a fast reply. The owner was not only chill AF in person but he is super professional in setting up appt. and sticks to his schedule, and does a fast and AMAZING job . I highly recommend his services. Call or text you will have a fast response and he is mobile. God forbid my car get stolen again but if it does I know who I'm calling to replace the left back window. read more

Another 5 star review for Chuys mobile tint! As a returning customer and I am not surprised of the 5 star service and use of "high quality" tint film, which reflects when applied to the cars. I had the X1, X3, and my neighbor's car (acura) tinted. The X1 and X3 had ceramic tint applied to the front windshield to help keep the heat & UV rays out during the hot summer. Went with 50% and very happy with the results. My neighbors acura with ceramic tint on front windshield and front driver/passenger window. Application came out great! Overall Chuy and his wife are a compete duo when it comes carefully applying tint. Their knowledge, great reputation, honesty, quality of tint, and loyalty keeps me coming back for my window tint needs and I am confident to refer my friends & family knowing that they will be in great hands. I called around to 3 places that advertised being opened after 5pm because I needed immediate service today. My 4th call was to Chuy (Who closed at 5pm), and he answered at 545pm. Check this out................ I explained to Chuy that my home office printer was fried due to excessive sun damage pounding through my glass office door. I bought a new printer and needed to print some work orders today. I followed this with a please. Mr. Chuy replied, "I will come do it for you no problem" He showed up and showed out Y'all! My office door is tinted and looks amazing! The main objective was to keep the sun off our business printer. Chuy and his Wife runs a first class business at fare prices. He could of taken advantage of my emergency and chose not to. Great and Honest people running this business. If you ever need window tint Mr. Chuy and his wife is the best and a veteran of his trade. They are a family run business who know how to treat people. Thank you Chuy and Wife, Much Love read more

6 stars!! I have been taking my cars to Chuy's shop on Hawthorne for years. Recently got a new car so I called up for an appointment. Sad to hear the news that he had to close the brick and mortars. Turns out to be a win for me! Made an appointment, Chuy and his wife arrived 10 min early and found a great spot in the shade for me to park my car. Left them my keys and went back to work. A short time later, I got a call indicating they were done. Went out to see wonderful work, pay and exchange pleasantries. Chuy continues to deliver amazing tint jobs and now he comes to me! read more

Responsive, high-quality work, and professional! Him and his wife were awesome the entire time. Gave wonderful input and suggestions. I got the carbon tint and wow the difference the tint that he uses versus my old car that's been done from a different shop. I don't feel the heat as much when I'm driving and my car isn't as hot when I get in when it's been parked outside all day. Highly recommend! read more

Chuy came out to our home on a Saturday morning. He does an amazing job on car window tints. He tinted my VW e-Golf and did an excellent job. The tint looks sleek and is very good quality. I chose the Ceramic window-tinting film which blocks the highest amount of heat. I am very happy with my decision. This is my 2nd time getting a car tinted by Chuy. I would definitely recommend him. read more

I found Chuy here on yelp. I read the reviews and deciding to give Chuy's Mobile Tinting a try. Chuy was prompt at responding with an estimate for my vehicle. I made an appointment after I received the best reasonable estimate, as others were charging upwards to 2x the price. Chuy promptly arrived at my home on the scheduled day of service. I had the rear 5 windows of my car tinted. He was finished within 45 minutes. I was absolutely impressed. He was helpful and answered all of my questions. In comparison with the last few vehicles I owned and the places I have been to for tinting, I have to say that this was the best service I've ever had. Plus side: Chuy is mobile! I totally recommend his services. Thank you Chuy. read more

I truly hate to leave a bad review of a business, and I believe that much of what went wrong with Chuy originated with misunderstandings. We initially asked for medium on my car and light on my wife's, including front windshield in very light tint. He agreed on a two car price and we set an appointment for both cars. He showed up to my apartment building and we realized we had never discussed he doesn't do apartment buildings. He said that due to a film color misunderstanding he upgraded our front film to a higher level 3M product, no price change. I appreciated that and said I would bring the cars by his home and we would have the work done in his driveway. Upon getting my car home I checked it over with my wife, this was my fault because I should have discussed any flaws before leaving. We saw a lot of dust trapped in the passenger side, more than we believed is acceptable, along with a scratch or imperfection on the windshield in clear view of the driver seat. She called him and said she wanted to cancel her tint. He said he was mostly done but would remove the film and charge us for the materials. We asked he complete the work and that we honor the original deal, but he said he didn't want to complete it and didn't feel comfortable working with us. We asked again to complete the work when we picked up the car, but he again said no. I felt bad for the communication errors and problems, so I apologized via text to him for my misunderstandings concerning tint and the amount of dust to be expected, and he accepted it. A day later I let him know we were being turned away from other tint shops because of the weird circumstances, and I asked him for a shop recommendation or again if we could have the tint done through him. He never responded. My car was done at the price of the two car discounted rate, so I don't have a warranty on the work (on his quote sheet is says warranty only on full price). I don't believe I'll be getting any additional contact from him concerning any issues with my tint. read more

I have been in contact via cell phone email with Chuy (as that's the only way he responds). He was prompt in responding when I was asking for a quote and trying to schedule our appointment. We finally got a set date and time, and it was my only day off of work so it was perfect. Well the day comes to get it done and a couple of hours prior to my appt, on the same day, (my appt was at 1pm and at 11am or so I got email) he sends a cell phone email that says he was sorry but had to cancel. NOTE: I left my cell number and stated to call me or text me...no, always responded from his cell phone to an email so it was always short. He is apologetic but states he will have to cancel our appointment because one of his workers didn't show up. Unfortunately for me that was the only day I could do it as his business hrs conflict with mine. He says "Sorry, please reschedule" So I ASKED if for the inconvenience I would be offered a discount if I rescheduled. Well from there the email replies stopped. After 3 days of no response, I asked him if he was going to get back to me or whether or not I should take my money somewhere else. This was my exact response: "Are you going to get back to me or should I look for another company to do the work?" His response: "I'm very sorry about the inconvenience you can look for another company" Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID Who really sends a potential customer to another business when they are trying to reschedule?! I say ok, thank you I will express my experience on YELP. TO his response (note: yes it's copied and pasted): "I just try to be the most professional I can with you and the . are you ready apologize for the inconvenience I'm pretty sure you sometimes do the same thing because its out of your hands. the second thing is not right you to try to take advantage of the price just because I have a convenience. and now your telling me I'm not professional I think here who is not professional is you." Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID Never did I call him unprofessional, but merely asked questions about pricing and whether something can be offered to please a future customer. But that response was completely unprofessional and never will I send anyone to them or recommend them. I read the reviews about him wanting a job only if it was convenient but wow was I surprised that it was so true. Perhaps treating a potential customer better would lead to more customers. Not knowing I am a big person in the car industry and have local car clubs looking for places to tint their cars.......bad business move. If I could get 0 stars, I would've. I guess if you can get him to do the job, you will be pleased based on reviews...so good luck if you do plan to use them. I will go back to California Tint, where I got my show vehicle tinted. BTW I just got this from him: You think a natural is just tried to take advantage and give it almost free the job. you just unhappy because you couldn't get a price on it. and that is what talk. about you " Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID Can someone translate these? UNPROFESSIONAL AND WASTE OF TIME. Truthfully, I used them on a previous car and did a good job. Called company a week in advance and scheduled appointment after maneuvering my schedule to get tints. On day of, the owner calls me 20 minutes past our appointment with the crappiest "my dog ate my homework and I'm sick in bed right now" excuse. Sure buddy..... Wasted my time. Time = money. I think Chuy's Mobile Tint should change their name to Chuy's "First Class" Mobile Tint. Chuy and his wife are a first class service. They a very professional. They stand by their work and are very personable. They come to you to do the job. Just make sure you book in advance. They do get booked very fast. Don't go anywhere else. They are definitely worth the wait to get this first class service done by these two professionals. I fully recommend them for any work they provide. They work quick and done right the first time. They stand by their work and can tell you all about the film they are using. Thank you to both of you I appreciate the work that you do. When I buy a new car. They will be the first people I call to get my windows tinted. read more

Chuy is a great guy that runs a good business. I am a repeat customer of his for good reason. The fact that I can get my car windows tinted right in front of my own home is great. No hassles, just straightforward business. When I first had Chuy tint my windows, it was on my 3-series. I got limo tint for the rear windows, and 35 for the front side windows. Although my buddies warned me that I might get pulled over, I never had an issue. The tint was good quality, and never peeled of bubbled. I appreciated the tint blocking out the sun, which made my commute through the Los Angeles freeways far more pleasant. After all, the sun is great when I'm surfing, not when I'm dealing with tailgaters on the 405. The second time Chuy tinted my windows was on my business car. This car had more surface area to cover, and it was a bit trickier. This time, I got limo tints on the rear windows and 25 on the front side windows. When I was considering getting very light tint on the windshield and sunroof, Chuy advised against it due to possible scratches (from the tools he needs to use) being visible. Honesty is appreciated, and that is why I keep hiring him to do my tints. Chuy works out of a shop close to Torrance and Redondo Beach, and can come to you to get the job done. He's very friendly and a good conversationalist. I highly recommend his service. read more

I had my windows tinted back in 2012 when I purchased a new vehicle and in the 3 years I owned that car I never had any issues with my tint and got compliments on it all the time. Unfortunately the car itself was a lemon so I no longer have that to show pictures but I am having the windows on my new car done today and will post pictures upon completion! I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone looking for a great customer service experience that comes along with long-lasting tint! read more

Chuy's Mobile Window Tint - Limo on the back 15% on the front! Love!!! - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Bakersfield, California

I do not write alot of Yelp reviews, but I like to share my opinion whenever I get great service or need to advise others of crappy places. In this case, I got a great customer service from this place called Chuy's Mobile Window Tinting. I just recently purchased a car and needed window tint. I decided to choose this place since it got good reviews and it was close to my house. Fast forward a little. I drove my car home after they finished, but only to find little crease marks on one of the windows. It was really dark and late by the time they were finished with my car so we did not see this when inspecting the car. I gave them a call next day to inform them of the creases. Chuy said he will take care of it. He came by my wife's work few days later, and took care of the issue on the spot. He even re-did the passenger side window because he saw tiny bubbles/creases which really couldn't be seen! I'm very anal person when it comes to cars, and I am glad to see that he is the same way as me. He really did take good care of me and my car. I am 110% satisfied and will recommend him to anybody! read more

Excellent product and customer service. I setup an appointment with the owner (Chuy) and he showed up 5 minutes early (awesome). It was him, his wife, and their nephew. They used genuine 3M films and explained the difference between the different shades (both real world and legal information). He got to work right away and had the first car (2012 Cadillac SRX - Both front windows) done in 45 minutes. I was so impressed that I had him take care of my 1997 Cadillac STS (All windows) including the hard to tint back window (which he did in one piece). He was able to fit it into his schedule immediately and completed the job in about 1h 45m. The whole team was extremely professional and very friendly while they worked. They answered all my questions and cleaned up like they were never there. His pricing is very fair and I truly feel if I were to have any problems with the work he would resolve it quickly. I would highly recommend his company to anyone looking to have tint. read more

Have a wonderful and pleasant experience with Mr. Chuy today. He was sent by an auto body shop I had the tint job done on my Tundra, to fix the job that I and my wife were not quite satisfied with. By the way, it is a very right thing for the auto body shop to sent one of the best in business to fix the problem. When I found out it was Mr. Chuy, I was quite relieved because I had read a good review on Yelp about him. I knew right away that I would be in good hands! Mr Chuy showed up and started to look at the original tint job, and explained to me what is acceptable and what is not. What is common and what is not. and started to fix the tint job! I am, myself, a business owner of 20 years. I know right off when I see the BS businessman and also when I see the good and honest one......Let me tell you that Mr. Chuy is the latter, good and honest. He finished the new tint job on my Tundra, and I ended up give him another job on my other car. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH HIS TINT JOB! I watched him the whole time while he was doing the job. This man surely know what he is doing. You can tell when you see the persons work whether they know what they doing or not! I am a hands-on business owner, and whenevr I see a fellow business owner does the work himself or herself, they sure earn my utmost respect and appreciation! The price is extremely reasonable for the best film in the market - 3M (that's what he uses) and for the experience that Mr Chuy has under his belt makes him and his price unbeatable and second to none. If you want cheap tint job, Mr Chuy is not for you, but if you want one of the best job out there and the best quality film, Mr Chuy is definitely for you. I like his job so much, I told him that I would let him put his business cards on the front counter of my business. And whenever anyone asks me about where to get a good tint job, I would absolutely recommend him without any hesitant! "You get what you pay for!" In this case I got more than I paid for!!! You might be puzzled that you see negative reviews about him and also the good ones. Well, you have to weight that yourself. But believe me - this man is good, honest and very professional. It is a rarity nowsaday. As you can see I have never written any review, But this one I have to, because Mr Chuy surely deserve it!!!!!!!!! read more
