I asked uber drivers or the hotel staff about it and it's definitely very polarizing. They people either love it or hate it. I particularly loved it! The tacos are more "rolled tacos" or "taquitos" but they're still very good. I got the 6 pack version which is 6 of their rolled tacos with a tomato broth over them and I heaping pile of cheese. I thought they were great. Nice and crunchy with a good asking of meat inside. The only thing that I would add is a little sour cream but they're still very good!

My homie warned me it might not be the same experience, but I thought it was still pretty satisfying. To be fair, the first time I ever tried Chico's Tacos I didn't like it. After having it again, I (in)famously ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two weeks. Not sure why people are commenting about service. Everyone was pretty nice when I went. It's a fast food restaurant with a very simple interaction model - know your order, give them your order, wait, get your order. They do have some old school flair. Who doesn't like to use a jukebox while you wait? It's a community staple that I hope continues on. Don't take it for granted!

The salsas offered as a complimentary appetizer are excellent, with varying spice levels and flavors. The waitresses are both extremely friendly and hasty, a delightful combination. My colleague and I both ordered the combo plate, which seemingly was a sampling of every popular dish on offer at the restaurant, all of which were excellent. I was disappointed I didn't get to the experience what appeared to be an extremely active bar scene here, though I will absolutely be back to rectify that. Highly recommend this spot.

I could say so much for you to believe me, and it honestly starts with the speedy (and kind) service, flavorful profiles and the pricing! My first visit I just simply couldn't believe it. Each visit, I try something new and I must say that I'm hooked on the Jamaica Margarita (with the tajin rim), and the pork shoulder taco, as well as the chicken taco! The Baja shrimp taco is also in my top 3! The staff is kind, energetic and will remember you; not just from personal experience but from my observations as well. Service is fast, food is hot and it's a great place to be! There is no wi-fi, but it is a FUN and engaging place for sure! I'd recommend a bar seat if you're lucky Warning: You may leave planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill.

One of the servers, Jonah, threw away my "half-eaten" food without asking if I was finished. I didn't realize that was his decision to make, and when I brought it up, he rolled his eyes and responded with a horrible attitude. On a positive note, Sara behind the bar was fantastic, and Alexis was incredibly kind. They both provided the level of service I've come to expect from Taconeta. I hope management addresses this, because one negative interaction shouldn't overshadow the great staff and food that usually keep me coming back.
