I've seen people get their stuff and leave because of this. Some members of staff are not very helpful at all. The new equipment is okay but the whole gym feels very cluttered and you can't work out in peace because you're constantly looking around to make sure nobody bashes into your barbell or that you don't hit anyone. At peak times, this gym is a nightmare. The queue for the benches, racks and dumbbell area is ridiculous. One can wait up to 10-15 minutes before a piece of equipment is available. Also for the past few weeks the lights on the outdoor running track have been turned off very early, about 5pm. We have nowhere to run. We can't use the upstairs indoor track because it is too small and gets crowded very easily. The pool is a nightmare. There seems to be kids classes on constantly and that leaves 2 lanes and an open area for the members. You can't enjoy a swim because of the sheer amount of people in it. Honestly, spend your money elsewhere. The Mardyke Arena just isn't worth it

Theres also a separate 'elite' section, and a separate women's gyn (not too sure whats in there though) you see all shapes and sizes in there, yesterday a guy was benching about 180kg and the next guy to use the bench was struggling with just the bar. It gets busy enough between 6.30 and 8.00 but not unbearable. The staff are pretty good by and large, its always spotless, parking gets seriously busy at peak times, all in all a fantastic place to train. It just needed to be paid here, too. you can not walk in a bikini with a towel covering the body but the men can walk in a swimwear besides a macho sexist place. you have to leave the establishment to take the biggest turn in it being that the place of the bathrooms and exchanges are in front of you. here you pay the entrance and they come and ask you if you paid for being here because the receptionist did not give you a super humiliating and bad polite bracelet. I've never seen such a disorganized place in my life. Even with so many stupid rules that do not make the slightest sense I'm only giving a star why it can not give 0 or - 5 negative

They also have archery and laser tag but I have never taken part in these. But the Karting and Paintball are very well set up.
