Example; the parts they replaced I was charged $180.49 for them and $336 for labor. I called two different Ford dealerships and both said the parts are $70.00. Ford quoted me $375.00 for parts and labor. Hemlock Auto & Alignment charged me $528.12 for the repair. Yes they got me in a couple weeks before the Ford dealer could. Had I known up front how expensive they are I would have waited. After I did get a cost if I had decided to take my car to Ford for the repairs it would have e cost me $160.00 for the quote they gave me. Add that to the $375 at Ford and I'm back up to the same price. Unlike many other businesses they do not Honor Military or Veterans or offer any other type discount. They will not install your own parts even if they are OEM parts. I cannot recommend this establishment or will I ever go back to them for any future repairs. And yes the Ford Dealer has newer, and nicer loaner cars too.

Meanwhile I have a mechanic in holland who will LITERALLY let me drive my car until everything is fixed. It's nonsense. They fix stuff and d and j but they do rip you off. I say 1.5/5 or 2/10. Can't stand shifty mechanics

Wait a minute, I drove it into the lot and I know which set of brakes they replaced!!! I don't care what the paperwork states, clerical error Im assuming. They would not budge, said I was wrong and basically called me a liar!!! She has used Dagwood's for years, and we recommended that she call them to see what they could do or what they would advised. Dagwood's sent someone over to her house who was able to jump start the car and take it to the shop. They then determined that the problem was that one of the doors on the minivan wasn't latching, causing the interior light to stay on and consequently draining the battery. They fixed that, charged the battery, checked the alternator, and drove the repaired car back to her house. Upon asking the delivery driver, Ken, what the charges were, she was informed there was NO CHARGE! Now, THAT is unheard of in this day and age. What great guys to do this for a customrer! TG and Ken and the rest of the guys at Dagwood's are fantastic, and I couldn't recommend them more highly!
