This location is quite large and they have a great selection of newer games. It also is quite clean as well as the restrooms. Parking has plenty of space. Went first thing on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty minus one birthday party. The reason for the three stars is solely that there was not enough staff. There were only the people working, one in the kitchen, one serving the birthday party and one handling the register. The poor lady had to try to handle the line as more people were coming in as well as to then run and let people in. It seems like nowadays most locations are understaffed. I went on a weeknight and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated it appeared to be. The games were spaced out enough that you didn't feel on top of other guests. The price is great! We paid ~50 bucks for an hour of unlimited play and a pizza, although I was almost charged double so be mindful of that. Pizza was good/what you expect. You don't win any physical tickets/tokens. They are all put on a plastic card that you can redeem for prizes. The bathroom had an overpowering unpleasant smell of fake air freshener though. Racist is the only word for this location. I went to this Chuck E Cheese for a four year old birthday party with family and friends and we were treated with pure disrespect. A friend and I purchased an unlimited salad bar and we were told to obtain an additional plate I we had to return the previously used plate to have the plate thrown in the trash by a staff member. I wasn't advised of this at the time of purchase but no problem. I return to the party area to get the previously used plate (thank goodness I hadn't thrown the plate away). I arrive at the counter provide the plate to the staff member she provides me with another plate. As I proceed to the salad bar another guest requests a salad plate the same staff member that assisted me immediately stops what she doing and provides the other guest with a plate no questions asked and no previous plate to discard required. I asked the staff member what was the difference and what changed from one moment to the next. She didn't have an answer. The only difference was the color of our skin and certainly no one wants to say it. It's sad. I spoke to a "manager" he didn't have an answer and there was NO apology for the poor behavior or difference made with different guests. Following asking for a manager the staff member threatened to call someone to confront me when asked to leave the area by her manager. Later during our visit I was approached by a woman stating she was called by the staff member to come and confront me at Chuck E. Cheese. I advise the manager on duty and he refused to acknowledge the issue stated he couldn't say if the staff member was at fault and refused to call the local police until he was advised we had personally called the police. He later stated the staff member was magically sent home for the day. He didn't know the exchange was recorded. This place was awful and refused to take any responsibility for the actions of their employees threat and or actions. I would elaborate more but I will save that information for my formal complaint. I would recommend everyone to stay away from this Chuck E. Cheese location our children shouldn't be subjected to this behavior and it is obviously approved by management. Beware! read more

I have not been to a Chuck E. Cheese in about 15 years and managed to avoid it for over 6 years of parent hood. My recent experience has changed my perception! I was expecting a poorly lit, germ infested ball pit play place and card board pizza. I could not have been more wrong. It was clean! Bright! It felt "new"! No ball pits or tunnels of germs, just fun arcade type games spaced out and well maintained. The pizza was actually good! Their birthday party set up and execution is well done and organized. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I was so impressed. They guard the entrance/exit and kids can't leave without their parent who has a matching hand stamp, the salad bar looked pretty nice but I didn't have any. I would take my kids again for sure. The 3:00-5:00 Saturday time frame was not crowded but it started to fill up after 5:00 so keep that in mind. read more

I take my family to 740 John R. Troy every weekend. My four children and wife, enjoy the patronage and the dynamic of the place. We meet our cousins, and friends over there, enjoy the great food, the updated games, and the wonderful service. Don't forget the ice-cream machine. I admire the leadership of the manager, Kasner and all the employees, including this young lady "Nya" who spent all her hours, fixing the machines, retrieving customers tickets, and cleaning up the store. Wanted to mention; We are Canadians, from Windsor, Ontario, and the only one Chuck E Cheese in Windsor has closed its doors last month, Bankruptted for bad management, bad service and unfair prices. This place is usually fun. My kids always enjoy it here everytime. However, the last time I was there, there were only 1 cashier. The line was extremely long. Explains why no one picked up the 20calls that I made before going there. While in line, I can hear the phone ringing nonstop. No one was bothered by it either :/ on top if that, I ordered 2 small pizza &literally waited an hour, on a Tuesday. I was told that they were short on staff because of their tmobile Tuesday deal. Hi, I have been there multiple time and had good experience, except my recent visit. I went there with my whole family everything was going fine except the time when i found that my iPhone has been stolen, staff was somewhat cooperative to my surprise when I was searching for my phone same time there was another women looking for her galaxy phone. It seems there is a gang involved there. First of all this is a Chuck E. Cheese's. It satisfies all of my expectations of a local indoor kids attraction. I don't expect the staff to be geniuses or to treat us like royalty. We go there more often through the winter time and have been going on and off for the past 3 years. Based on all of our experiences I give it 5 stars. 1. Food- it was decently priced and the pizza is surprisingly good considering they are not a restaurant primarily. They have sufficient selection and a salad bar with free refills for the health conscious. It's main attractions are the games- not the food. So for that- they get my vote. 2. Safety- they have a system to verify kids leave with who they came with. It's well maintained and kept so nothing is falling apart. I can let my 3 & 5 year old roam free with a pocket full of tokens and I can sit and keep my eye on them from afar. Awesome! 3. Staff- has always been friendly and courteous with us. Their position doesn't require a degree in rocket science so for what it is and what they are paid they do a good job. We even had a bday party there for one of our boys and it went over smoothly- way easier than me hosting it at home;) ...also- by far the most affordable birthday location! 4. Games/Prizes- lots of games and variety of prizes- they let you pay the difference if you don't have enough tickets to get whatever your little prince or princess's heart desires- and from my experience at other places- you get a lot more play and prize for your buck here. 5. Cleanliness- it has always been clean including attractions, games, tables, bathrooms, etc. Each of these point above = 5 stars. After having problems at the kiosk, a manager told me I was belligerent and threw me out of the restaurant. I needed a receipt and that's how I was treated. When I called corporate they gave me the runaround. I'm still waiting for my refund. I really don't like writing bad reviews but I just have to after my experience last night. We celebrated my grandson's 8th birthday Wednesday evening, March 1. The service was just terrible. One girl ran the register for ordering food and distributed toys to those who had tickets and there was one young man at the door stamping hands. That was it that I saw was working. I did see two other girls behind the wall that didn't want to come out and help at all but busy eating pizza. There was absolutely no one on the floor and I never saw a manager the entire night. It took forever to get our food and over an hour for them to bring the cake out that I bought there and that was so dry that we couldn't even eat it. The two people that were actually working were slow and looked like they just didn't want to be there. My kids didn't seem to mind anything because they were playing the games. When I go to a place of business that services kids I expect the staff to be cheerful and helpful not slow with a pissy attitude. We've visited this place a half a dozen times, and it's always been a fairly pleasant experience considering the circumstances. Friendly staff has always greeted us, and the happily took our money (I can't say we were ripped off, we knew what we were getting into!). The pizza is surprisingly good. They've obviously made huge improvements from when I was a kid. It was fresh, and the high quality cheese was definitely the highlight. It's certainly not gourmet by any means, but definitely acceptable plus. The salad bar is pretty good, overpriced for what's offered though. Pretty basic with no bells and whistles really. Kids enjoyed all the games, can't say that other patrons were respectful 100% of the time but it's a safe place overall. They do offer a stamping security system so that your child cannot leave without someone with a matching number. They also allow you to purchase additional tickets should your child be short of their dream prize for 1 cent a piece. Good fun for kiddies of ages 3 and up! read more

Truly wish I could rate this place a zero! Horrible experience! The party rep. was not very helpful. Most of my questions were answered by the front desk attendants. The Rep. Did not give me the tickets that came with my packaged appeared agitated when I inquired about them. She asked multiple times was I sure that I did not receive the tickets insinuating that I may lied about not receiving the tickets. We were consistently reminded that other parties were coming in and of the time slot regulations. We were forced to move our table to the other side of the room for the reason that other parties were scheduled behind us. The party was schedule between 5pm-7pm we did not leave til 9pm there were no there parties utilizing that particular space during the hours of 5p-9p. There were other parties scheduled during the same time slot at different tables, but they appeared to be able to utilized their space much longer than my party and I. I then asked can we at least have some plates for our party after the rep. confiscated the caddy holding the plates, cups, and flatware. She seemed unwilling to give them to us. I then explained that we paid for plates with the package the rep. then reluctantly asked how many do we need then counted out about 10 plates. Chuck E. Cheese's... Troy MI, north of 14 mile, on John R was horrible for my grand daughter's 5th birthday party today! Why you ask? Reservations were from 3pm to 5pm. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR A RESERVED PARTY. Couldn't access party area until 3:25. By then kids/parents were everywhere with the game key cards "free play" killing time . Had a "1st day on the job" attendant who proceeded to pour drinks & put pizza on plates when no one was even there (they were gaming). I guess we were to eat 1st but group was scattered. At 4:00 pm, Happy Birthday was sang to 6 different partings in the area all at once. At 4:20 the attendant began clearing away everything, included uneaten cupcakes that I thought we were taking home or giving to the kids that weren't there for the birthday song. We hadn't even began opening the presents yet & the attendant stated there was another party to get ready for & began stripping off the decorations and shoving us out the door. 10 kids, parents to monitor their kids and the whole thing was embarrassing. For 350$ (plus they wanted more at check out) I have lots of grandkids & will never suggest this place again. read more

By far one of the worst Chuck E. Cheese's I been to IN AND OUT OF STATE! The staff obviously does not want to be there, but are there to collect a check or probation. The people on the counter have calculators to count the tickets the children have to redeem their prizes, they are ignorant to the point even with a calculate they miss count I had to do the math in my head before my party guest were cheated out for prizes. And the manager I hear was new, but not as properly trained. I made a complaint about the lazy disrespectful host who was in a rush to end the party, did not serve my guest what I paid for, had the brightest question on asking "I forgot to give the adults their drinks do you want me to take it off the bill?" (No please I insist on paying for a service I did not receive, please leave it on my bill, REALLY??) where do they get these people from?? I asked for the manager she came over spoke with us apologized for the inconvenience offered us extra tokens and something else for the inconvenience, but at the end I had to go look for her because she was busy gossiping with the other staff members RIDICULOUS! Now the manager over her HA! she was hiding in the back the entire time she did not want to be bothered. To top it off before we walked out the door we were gathering everyone from my party to leave the girl by the ropes of the exit rolls her eyes because it was too much for her to hold a rope up such a difficult task jeez!
