Chuck E Cheese photo op

A few months ago I left a one-star review on Google for Chuck E Cheese at the Dayton Mall. It was the most awful experience I have ever had at a business designed to cater to children. I received the stock reply to contact business management, but I have no desire to discuss the matter, I expect changes to be made. Yesterday we took our grandchildren back to Chuck E Cheese . Apparently someone at Chuck E Cheese actually pays attention to bad reviews. The location by Dayton Mall has been revamped, management was helpful as well as the employees. The food was good and the area was clean. Our grandkids had a wonderful time because of the games and Chuck E Cheese's live appearances. I still think there could be improvements like more Smiles on the employees since this is a fun place for kids and more cleaning maintenence in the dining area, but, all in all, I'm impressed that changes were made. Of course, I'll update my review when we go back. Hopefully improvements continue to be made.

this place is awesome! Salad bar was a great option. Kids had fun with floor

They are offering amazing carryout deals while the quarantine is in effect. Everything is $5 and under!!!!! 937-439-1108

We've just walked in to the best looking Chuck E's in the area! This place is huge! There are tons of coin operated toys for all ages and interests, crawling tubes, and mascot Chuck E. (mouse) is walking around engaging the crowd giving away free tickets and dancing. It's great! This one is much cleaner and much better maintained/operated than the one in Springfield (phew!) and our kiddo is happily playing his heart out. Their salad bar looks fresh, food is being rotated it appears in a timely manner and our pizza came out looking awesome, not overdone. Chuck E. Cheese win! Upon walking around I discovered some unique games and displays not present at other locations like a classic ride I remember enjoying as a kid and a miniature working train station encased in safety glass. They have clean bathrooms with sturdy baby changing areas, very modern or newly renovated Im guessing, just comparing to other locations. In addition they also have a family bathroom where everyone is welcome, men and women. After our last horrible experience with the location in Springfield this one has been a huge breath of fresh air! Hooray! Highly recommended, lots of parking, what more could we ask for? UPDATE: We spoke to what seemed to be a manager after our evening on the way out to compliment how clean the place was for how busy they had been. We noticed several people on the floor at any given time cleaning the place up in rapid succession, really, this place has a great team system working and we wanted them to know we noticed! The manager let us know this was actually the busiest night they have had in around two years, which says a lot to us, being that they kept the tables, games and common areas clean and tidy despite the anomalous rush. The last location I went to had trouble cleaning within the normalcy of day to day operation in a small town to boot. This one however, absolutely has it's game face on and it's stuff together! I love it! It makes me not afraid to order a plate for the salad bar, hehe. The other one, I wondered if I would end up getting some food borne illness like e.coli or something! Anyhow, had to add this. It was a great night.

Pizza looked a lot better then it tasted lol

Pros * Floors and play areas looked spotless. * Plenty of open space for the kids to run around. Cons * The owners/staff felt downright passive-aggressive from the moment we walked in. Zero warm welcome--just rules barked at us. * Mandatory socks policy. My kids and I were barefoot, and instead of offering a workaround, they insisted I buy socks on the spot. Felt like an unnecessary upsell for a "junk" fee since the kids never actually touch the floor. *It's tedious and honestly pretty silly. * Adults must fill out a full waiver even if you're only sitting and supervising no exceptions. Bottom line: The facility itself is fine, but the vibe from the staff ruins it. If you do decide to come, bring your own socks and be prepared for extra hoops. Otherwise, there are friendlier play spots out there.

Great size where parents of all sizes can play with their children and you don't have to pay for the parents to play with the kid. Nice that you can leave and return in the same day because their snack prices are expensive. 1.25 for the tiny bag of chips, $3 for a tiny bag of gummy bears. Staff went out of their way to cheer kids up too. Free dum dums, playing with them, and bringing out the Dino. Honestly happiest place for kids in Dayton.
