I reported what happened to me, and the facility conducted an internal investigation--but they claimed there was "no evidence." From my perspective, it felt like my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. I even reached out to outside agencies like DCF because I felt like nobody inside the facility was willing to truly help or protect me. Instead of being supported, I felt pushed out and silenced. On top of that, the environment itself was not what I expected from a healthcare facility. Cleanliness was an issue, and several staff members came across as unprofessional and dismissive. The administration, in my experience, did not handle serious concerns with the care and urgency they should have. No patient should ever feel unsafe, ignored, or treated like their voice doesn't matter. I'm sharing this because people deserve to know what they might be walking into. I truly hope this facility makes changes--because what I experienced should never happen to anyone.

He not only treated me with great knowledge and professionalism, but also with empathy and genuine concern for my well-being. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well organized, and the entire staff--from reception to the clinical team--was warm, attentive, and highly professional. After being transferred to Naples Community Hospital, they placed a drain to relieve pressure and a coil to stop the bleed, but they were unable to complete the procedure. I was then transferred to the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Miami Jackson in Miami, Florida, where I had the privilege of being cared for by Nurse Denise Cooks. Denise is truly exceptional. From the moment she took over my care, she went far above and beyond in every way. She is deeply committed to her patients and treats them with genuine compassion and professionalism. Because I had no prior knowledge of this type of injury, her detailed explanations of every treatment and procedure were incredibly helpful and reassuring. She took the time to make sure I understood what was happening, which made a difficult and frightening situation much more manageable. After five days of being confined to bed, a friend planned to bring his future wife to meet me the next day. Denise went the extra mile by agreeing to shave my face so I would feel more presentable. She did an outstanding job, and that simple act of kindness meant the world to me. It is rare to find a nurse who not only provides excellent clinical care but also shows such thoughtful, personal attention. Denise Cooks deserves to be recognized and rewarded for her extraordinary efforts. She is a credit to Miami Jackson and to the nursing profession. I cannot thank her enough for the outstanding care she provided during one of the most challenging times of my life.

They actually do great physical therapy here and get the patient moving not just staying in a bed like others. Two Separate rooms shared by one bathroom. It's not situated in a great neighborhood but once you enter the facility is very clean and secure. I will never let my dad go to any other rehab. There is presently no long-term care beds available so he cannot transition to stay at their long-term care unfortunately. Highly recommend for rehab skilled nursing facility. Thank you for caring for your patients like it should be done.

(HHA-Loraine) This has been happening since a long time ago…read morebut no one has said anything about it because of them been scared of losing their job. I really don't know how they have unprofessional HHA techs working there with no education, values and respect for others specially for their manager. I was surprised seen her act and talk the way she did it. Her name is Loraine, she was talking bad things about Yulna, she is always demanding other people (HHA techs the ones they sent from the other company) to do things like if she herself is the manager. Other techs go there to help not to do whatever she tells them to do, and some of them dont even want to go there just so they dont have to deal with her rudeness(Loraine's); because the main boss is Yulna not her, Yulna is such a sweet great helpful person, super adorable. Loraine keeps saying horrible things about Yulna all the time, she barely works she is always walking around talking on the phone in the restrooms with her airpods. On monday she said Yulna was serious because she hadn't got la.. the night before, and talking like that in front of the other co-workers is really disrespecftul. I really appreciate the manager because she is amazing and listening to Loraine talk so bad about Yulna is a disgrace. Hope they get to fix that daily problem.
