Each session was organically crafted according to my unique needs at the moment. Megan was deeply attuned to me, I felt her genuine care for the process, and she showed great skill and fluidity in the coaching process. My desires were to learn to communicate better, learn to repair relationships, solidify my boundaries, especially in situations involving intimate touch, and unpack any remaining shame feelings. I feel like I was able to get support and grow significantly in all of these areas. Things in my life started to shift for the better immediately upon beginning to work with Megan. Megan lovingly took me to my edge, and thanks to that I grew deeply. I give her my highest recommendation.

He was so easy to communicate with, professional, responsive and super mellow. I like that he has a mix of techniques to choose from and he intuitively knows what your body needs. For me there was a lot of stretching and clearing of some stuck energy. It's $200 for 70 minutes, which is pretty on par with a spa...and he travels a large radius for clients, so you're in luck. Ya gotta book a little in advance though. I will work with Zeke again, as the more he knows your body, the better he can troubleshoot any issues (kind of like relaxing physical therapy :) Thanks Zeke!!

The very worst part is that she does not try to keep marriages together. She knew that my husband was having affairs and sided with him in agreement to keep that from myself? How can any type of qualified counselor do that to any one seeking assistance ? She has zero desire to help the marriage partners find their way back to one another. Very Very SAD!! Please Please find someone who is qualified to help with your situation... she has repressed feelings from Catholicism and her time as a Nun.... not someone you want to counsel a couple or anyone for that matter!!!

My husband and I have been together for more than forty years, and for the last thirty, we have…read morebeen dealing with conflict over sexual intimacy. We tried personal counseling, we tried marriage counseling, and our difficulties only persisted. This year, my husband and I decided once again to seek help. This time, we wanted to find a therapist who could listen to both sides of the sexual conflict that had become a cancer on our marriage, and somehow guide us to a place that would change our sexual relationship to the loving satisfaction we both sought. We found Dr. Anya-a sex and intimacy coach. Our previous attempts at personal and marriage counseling--private sessions with a therapist and couples communication classes through Kaiser--never addressed our fundamental difficulty which seemed to arise from a sex-life that was contentious. This led to a reluctance on the part of my husband to trust therapy to address our conflict. However, at his wits' end, my reluctant husband finally agreed to try seeing Dr. Anya. We warily scheduled a free consultation to discuss our issues and see whether she could help. After describing her methods, Anya reported that with Homeplay--exercises devised to help set new behavior patterns and sensitize partners to their mutual goals--couples were usually able to achieve improvement within six or more sessions. We decided to go for it as we had nothing to lose having tried everything we could think of on our own. Yes, professional guidance is expensive, but in our experience, it was completely worth it. With Anya's guidance, we learned how to open up to each other and address our issues for the first time. We learned how to navigate the differences in our case that are often fundamental to male and female arousal, and that made it easier to understand why we could never seem to get on the same page. Our goal was to break the deadlock we had found ourselves in and to increase our intimacy and have more joy from sex. With Anya's guidance, we feel we have succeeded in re-establishing the connection we had lost. We have rediscovered the ability to address and satisfy our mutual desires. It has not been a particularly simple or easy process to break the destructive cycle that we had found ourselves in after all those years, but Anya has given us tools to use going forward. Finally, it's reassuring knowing that we can always contact Anya for help and further guidance if we find ourselves falling back into old, destructive behaviors.

Joy does NOT have the ability to do your work for you and lastly Joy does NOT by any means sell herself short on the services that she provides. Joy, you are an absolute god send. Seriously.... I have been thru various counseling all of my life but that didn't resolve my issues nor did it really give me the tools needed to actually resolve them. So since I had tried that previously and pretty much got the same result, I knew I had to try something different. So, what did I do? I went to my trusty yelp and reached out and received several responses. I had a few phone interviews because I needed to find the right person to help me thru some heavy stuff. I liked Joy right off the bat. You can simply tell by the tone in her voice that she is an angel. I signed up for 6 sessions with Joy...and after my 6th session, I signed up for 6 more. And I threw Joy some crazy challenges (nothing in my life has EVER been easy)....there were issues that she flat out told me she couldn't do anything about (I appreciate the honestly more than you know) and there were some issues where I really feel like I challenged her but guess what? SHE NEVER GAVE UP ON ME. SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION (again she doesn't have a magic wand). Instead what I received was far far greater than any gift...Joy gave me the tools I needed to see where my deficiencies came from and also gave me some positive insight as to how to fix the behaviors and this is something I now work on EVERY SINGLE DAY and it's made me a better person. So if you feel like you are stuck, and don't know where to go, and you have tried traditional methods (and they haven't really worked) I would seriously urge you to give Joy a call...set up and appointment and more importantly work on your (O&*%(Q*&)%(.
