I ordered a "conofongo" which is a mofongo shaped and served as a cone stuffed with chicken with "criolla sauce". This mofongo was pretty good and the flavor of the sauce was good. Other members of my family ordered "conofongo" of fried pork "carne frita", "conofongo" of steak (churasco) and the personalized sampler (surtido personal). The other two conofongos were Ok flavor wise nothing amazing, just bland. I have tried mofongo in other places and the flavor had been amazing but here the only one with good flavor was the one with salsa criolla. Dont get me wrong the concept of mofongo in a cone is cool and the portion you receive is good, very filling. The sampler was not that great either. The plantain chips were not crispy, they were soft which was disappointing. The chicken and fried cheese was good, but it only brought 3 pieces of cheese. Service was good, establishment has very limited parking and its hard to find a place. In regards to waiting time to receive food it was good, we only waited like 15 min to get our food. Seats are outside under a roof so there was some mosquitoes, make sure you wear mosquito repellent. Price wise was OK not extremely expensive, neither super cheap either. Would I go back to this place: No, as in my opinion there are other places that cook more flavorful food for the same price.

In the mourning my friend and I walked into town to get some bread, ice, and a few other items for a day trip to the beach. We passed by this food truck, which is on the way to town. It was almost like in the cartoons when the characters start catch the aroma of food and float towards it. They weren't open yet, so we made a note to return before heading out. Unfortunately, we forgot and by the time we returned from the beach they were closed. We made another note to return the next day. This time we didn't forget. We bought two whole chicken and took them to the beach and made sandwiches with the bread from M&M Bakery. The chicken was moist, perfectly seasoned, and nice and smokey. In addition to chicken, they also sell ribs and pernil. They have sides too. They have about two tables set up, so this is mainly takeout. Perfect for the beach. Owner is very friendly. I definitely recommend checking this spot out when your in La Parguera. Note that their hours may vary from what is posted here on Yelp. It all depends when they run out of food and also the season. During the summer they may open on Fridays and maybe Thursdays.
