I cannot yell this loudly enough: Find another Allstate agency…read more Sadly, our first Allstate agent passed away, and through the winds of commerce, our policy came to be handled by this shockingly inept group of fumbling shirkers. Per Allstate, I cannot change agents without cancelling all of my policies. This is an Illinois thing; the rules vary by state. In addition to a number of incorrect quotes, missed communications, and un-returned calls, I learn today that my teen daughter was covered as a boy, and that her name was spelled incorrectly in the system. This foible would have cost me $150 annually. This whole operation feels as if a bunch of kids got in over their heads. I will now be calling Allstate corporate directly for any help I need regarding my insurance. I don't have the time or the patience to deal with these people.

My prior agent of fifteen years was in total retirement mode at 70 years old. Never had an issue until 7 months ago with this agent. After realizing he was just not into his job anymore (that's putting it nicely) I went with Greg because of his great reviews! Not to mention the baggage I came with!! Trust me- there is a reason why Greg Metelak has great reviews. Greg has been super patient with me, because I have had a chip on my shoulder from previous my agent and what I went thru. We talked on the phone at length and he was able to fix a HUGE issue for me. His patience and taking the time with me on the phone today- was truly amazing. Greg was able to resolve everything that has been an issue for 6+ months with my previous agent. Greg is super savvy and intelligent, figuring out how to personalize customers needs AND getting a better then I was even expecting! Trust me, I can be a pain when I have an issue- but Greg took the ball and ran with it! If you want an honest, agent who has your back 100% for home, auto, life, etc. Greg Metelak is your insurance agent- who will get you insured for a very decent, affordable price!! I also need to mention Phil, who works hard on the numbers too for you in a very upbeat manner! Greg Metelak- thanks for putting up with me and still giving me stellar service! I have nothing but respect for you taking the time getting this resolved- even though I was such a pain. Sorry about that!
