With a lot of vintage minxes out there you can be sure to find something from your preferred decade - if not the real thing (some things are very pricey!) then the owners know their stuff to point you to something that will look the part for your budget. This is true one on one customer service, as the kind gentleman behind the till, Mr Graves of the name, will find you, without fail, a piece that you'll fall in love with. Their secret power is the fact they cater to all - they have really affordable items, from £8, to things that most of us couldn't afford in a long time, as their catalogue extends to items near £8000. Nevertheless, the quality of service to both the £8 customers and the £8K customers is just as good. Even if you're not after a purchase, it's worth a look to be overwhelmed by the beauty of the shop itself, and then the items they keep. With adverts placed in Vogue, Tatler, and Harper & Collins, they have some serious clients and are decidedly Cliftonian, but these are all good things in my opinion. Go search for those gems!
