I don't have a before pic, but when I came in for my appointment, the hair near my roots were so brassy/orangey from the toner fading out (months and months of washes). But Karoline knew exactly what to do and considered what I wanted. She worked on my hair even though I had a lot of it and my damaged, dry mane was getting all knotted up. The result was this cool ashy color that I was immediately obsessed with. It was weird because even though the color was toned down, I could still see the warmth underneath, so weird it's like cool & warm at the same time haha, but maybe that's just me. Anyway I love my new hair! I've never had a main hair salon or hairdresser I regularly saw, but I think I know where to go for the rest of my life now. Also loved meeting Karoline who I discovered was Filipino. No wonder why she was so nice & outgoing! Honored to have had the owner herself work on my hair. My hair's excited for the next visit lol.

I said something numerous times and every time she tried to rectify it, it got worse. We left extremely upset and had to desperately find someone to help repair the damage that was done. 4 separate salons were shocked at what was done and saddened to see that an additional 4 inches needed to be cut to try and salvage her hair. It was supposed to be cut just below her bust and is now between her shoulders and chest area. Her hair was to her belly initially. The other stylist working wasn't even paying attention to the rather heated argument that transpired and could not have cared less. I'm furious.

I went to the salon for a long overdue root touchup and highlight touch up. After consulting we…read moredecided to do balayage. The hairdresser Kayla told me that she had to glaze my hair two different ways, melt my roots as they call it and whatever else. The total was going to be $370 which I was more than happy to pay as long as I walked out of there with what we had discussed. Instead 4 hours later, I leave with a black route, a band of color right under the route that is green and then the rest a very light bleached out color with the ends green again. I called the salon owner and she invited me back to fix it. I had to leave work early the next day, drive 35 minutes, spend another two hours for a different hairdresser to fix it. The second hairdresser Rachel did a good job repairing the mosh posh of crap that the previous stylist did. However after 6 1/2 hours, two days, and $350, I am completely dissatisfied with my hair. It is nowhere near what I wanted it to be. It has about four different shades of blonde in it and as of last night it was completely damaged, frizzy and would not curl. The owners solution was to offer me my next service (of adding highlights to my hair in order to ATTEMPT to get it to what I originally requested) for free. Meanwhile I never want to step foot in that salon again. So I'm left with spending the money to look a certain way but needing to now walk around for two weeks dissatisfied and then go pay someone else to accomplish the original goal. To say that I am beyond disgusted is an understatement. The young lady that owns the salon needs to go back to get a second- degree in customer relations and go to cosmetology school so that at the very least she knows what questions and expectations to have of the hairdressers she hires.

She's been afraid to get it cut but she did want a little trim because of her upcoming prom. Unfortunately I got stuck at work and my husband had to take her. So I do blame myself but I told her to very specific with the stylist. I even had an appointment with the same person a couple weeks ago and talked about my daughter's fear of losing length. According to my daughter she agreed to the 2 inches of dead straight hair on the bottom but was very clear about not wanting to lose length all over. The woman took at least 3 or 4 inches off all over her head. Hair that came to her elbows now barely falls past her shoulders and what's worse is that it is uneven. The right side is very noticeably longer than the left side. If she didn't understand curly hair, she should have said something. Maybe she didn't like my daughter or thought she was wrong to express what she wanted and decided to teach her a lesson. Now she doesn't even want to go to the prom. We can't get the hair back and I have to pay somebody else to fix it. We will never go back again.
