After a five minute wait my name was called and I was on my way back to my yearly checkup. Ashlie was my dental assistant and I was able to get a few questions in when her hand wasn't busy inside my mouth. Ashlei does hair as well and has a passion for good dental hygiene because she wore braces twice, and I had them once as well. Dr. Christine wasted no time getting in the chair after my X-rays were finished and deep cleaned in between my teeth. We were able to chat about the origin of my new last name and the current events that have recently turned all of our lives upside down. I'm sure my previous review was fueled from emotion and things going unexpectedly, but this visit has been the best one yet! I really appreciate the staff minimizing customer contact and being attentive to my needs by making notes for next time so it's even more comfortable. The technicians along with Dr. Dixon were extremely helpful and took the time to listen to my concerns. Not only was Dr. Dixon helpful in explaining the situation but he also took the time to show me my 3D scanning on my wisdom tooth along with the nerve running along my jaw. Due to the proximity of the nerve to the tooth, they were unable to do the extraction procedure then and there, however he did not hesitate to write me a referral to an oral surgeon. Needless to say, I was able to get all 4 wisdom teeth out in the same day and am now recovering!!! I will 100% be coming back to NKC Dental when my next check up is due.
