We have been to several other dental offices and have had a "failed visit" every time because she was so scared and wouldn't let them touch her. Typically, hygienists and dentists are at a loss at how to encourage her and some of them have even tried things like forcing her head to stay still, which only increased her fear and made me immediately lose trust in them. Phye was COMPLETELY different and I am so beyond grateful. My exam and cleaning was before my daughter's and my hygienist, Brittany (who was incredibly friendly and helpful), was explaining to my daughter everything she was doing and let her watch closely inside my mouth so she could understand what would happen on her turn. When it was my daughter's turn, her hygienist (Danielle, who I will appreciate forever and ever) took ten whole minutes before she ever asked my daughter to sit in the chair and built so much trust with her. She showed her all of her tools that she'd be using and let her choose a flavor for her fluoride and let her touch and smell the fluoride and let her spray the little water squirter so she could see how fun it is and let her ask questions and overall made friends with her! She was still a little nervous when she sat in the chair, but Danielle made sure to let her touch each tool again before putting it in her mouth and explained what she would do and demonstrated on my daughter's hand so she could feel it and understand. We have never even gotten as far as sitting in the chair before, but today my daughter had a full exam and teeth cleaning and she even let go of my hand to be brave on her own TWICE! This helped the proud mom tears along pretty well lol. I cannot say thank you enough to Brittany, Danielle, and the whole staff at Phye. I was sure that we would dread every dentist appointment until my daughter's teenage years, but when the exam was finished today, my daughter said, "I think we should come to this dentist every time so I can be brave." And I couldn't agree more!

They are in a small stand alone building with a couple of other practices with its own parking lot, so there's never traffic or parking issues. Most of my appointments are early, at 8, when they first open, so I don't have to wait long. They give me just enough time to grab a cup of coffee from the Kuerig. They have a full coffee bar with three different creamers, syrup to add, all in addition to a plentiful stock of K-Cups. If you do need to wait, they have a Wii in a little room with a flat screen tv. The receptionist is on top of insurance, and asks a couple questions verifying current address, phone number, etc. The dental hygienist took me to the chair after about five minutes of waiting. I told her I had a meeting at 8, and she said well let's gets you taken care of. She cleaned my teeth, talking me through everything she was about to do. She made pleasant conversation, as some dentists are better than others at a single sided conversation, then if I wanted to say something she would remove the tools and let me speak. Dr Katie Watson was out on maternity leave. Her replacement was a younger lady who examined everything, poked around a little bit, showed me some exposed areas where there might be a threat of sensitivity, let me know what they could do if it bothered me, and voila! All done in 35 minutes. I had a very pleasant experience, and this was my second visit here I highly recommend Stone Post Dental.

They have a comfortable and elegant waiting area (including a Keurig!) My hygienist is careful but thorough so I'm never in pain but get the maximum clean. She always provides little recommendations if I'd like an even better smile; which I appreciated. She recommended an electric toothbrush, which I purchased and saw great improvements. Now I've been more dedicated to my flossing, which she also suggested. Dr. Watson is so sweet. She always comes in for the final check. They are good about taking photos and x-rays when needed, but never suggest things you don't really need or shouldn't be worrying about. Always a wonderful experience!
