"Yeah - it's our policy." Really? Policy or complete inefficiency? Inefficiency for sure. I then had to sign 3 printed sheets - (is this 2023? Or 1993?). I received a 3 page receipt which I didn't even need a printed receipt for a $15 copay. Why waste the paper and tree? Why not at least ask me if I wanted or needed? RUN away from these people. Among many other things, they…read morelie. KARL SCHULTZ actually ghosted me after hip replacement surgery and like the coward he is, used his staff to about it. He didn't show up for scheduled follow-up appts, never saw or called me in the hospital. Nor did he send a replacement. Weeks later, I underwent a second, emergency replacement of Schultz's replacement. Five weeks after the surgery, I suffered two separate dislocations and screaming ambulance trips because he left me so damaged. I even required ADDITIONAL surgery and extremely difficult repairs a few years after the second replacement. I'm now seriously and permanently disabled. And his online photo is at least 25 years old. Just one more lie. James Moravek didn't listen to me for a YEAR while I told him I was in pain after a shoulder replacement. When he finally took images, there were fractures in my scapula from the screws. He told me he would repair and replace it again. Instead I woke up with half of the original replacement. I now have NO shoulder. JAMES TELFER called me a "problem child" when the shoulder surgery he performed didn't work. A surgeon in another practice fixed it. MASINI massively underestimated the care I'd need after my fourth hip surgery. The last time I saw him, he told me to call him in a few weeks to get more information about a question I had. My messages to him went ignored for months. When I repeatedly inquired, I finally got a message to call for an appointment with him. I immediately did, but was told he had retired. I had no notice of that, and telling me to call for an appointment with HIM was obviously a lie. He was gone. They just wanted me to stay with the practice. They offered me SCHULTZ. (see above.) Then they suggested I see Masini's PA, MATT. I'd already told the practice I never wanted to see Matt again. I've never met a more dismissive pat-her-on-the-shoulder-and-get-rid-of-her man in my life. And I've met plenty. This place is a nightmare.

Once greeted you'll be evaluated by Ken, who I found to be informative, kind, and respectful, he wanted to hear and actually listened to my concerns regarding my pain and trouble areas. I have been to several physical therapy facilities in the past 41 year hoping to feel a little better then what brought me to a physical therapist in the first place, just to walk away after 8 visits wondering why I bothered at all. I was 22 when I was injured, a sever slip and fall. The plan was, back surgery then place me in a wheelchair. I was hoping for a better resolution, with none offered at the time (80's) I decided to do this as best as I could on my own until I wasn't able to anymore. I have had two cervical spine surgery's to cage the vertebrae in the neck one in 2010 and again in 2012. It's my belief that it was those two surgeries that kick started the many and basically useless PT secessions I've experienced in the past. I kinda gave up trying to express how I was feeling or my pain as it wasn't being addressed or I was told it's all in my head. I had a scare the end of 2024. I had to go to the ER as I couldn't even stand on my own, my back hurt so bad I thought I'd be put in that wheelchair for sure this time. The surgeon came to the hospital room to talk to me about my options, 1. Was to have back surgery the 2nd she said would be very hard at my age to do as it would require a lot of physical effort on my part and she wasn't sure I was up for the fight. Guess which option I took?? In my opinion, HealthQuest physical therapy is #1 hands down, not only will you leave there better and feeling more yourself, but the knowledge and education you receive while working your program, is priceless. I believe after all the hard work you and your HQPT therapist do to solve the reasons you initially came in for, you may find yourself needing a physical therapist less in your future due to being taught how to keep yourself Mobil with more flexibility.
