What a lovely, friendly bunch they are. Nothing is to too much trouble, within a couple of visits my drink preference was in front of me as I walked through the door, my family asked after and I have never recieved so many positive comments about my hair. An added bonus is the nail and beauty salon upstairs, massages, wraps, facials, manicures, gel, acrylic nails the list is endless. But wait, the best is yet to come... Their prices. In one fell swoop I went from paying £120+ for a colour cut and blow dry to well, let's just say I never pay more than a fraction of this and I have had more compliments than ever. Andy you are an absolute star, your staff love you and that filters through to the customer, an absolute pleasure to have become 'a regular'.

I have to say I was rather taken aback at being charged almost double the price I had been quoted…read moreover the telephone when inquiring about getting my hair colour updated / roots done for an appointment. £80 was more than I usually would look to be charged, but I went ahead with booking an appointment there as I had wanted to try using a more local hair salon nearer to home regularly ...But then to be over charged without prior warning the excessive amount of.... £146 .....on the way out, on my very first visit there, was shockingly high for what my hair looked like as leaving, especially as I was under the impression what was being done for me was all inclusively priced at the £80 fee quoted .... I am not even 100% happy with my hair colour results which makes matters worst as I made sure to say repeatedly that i did not want any rusty red tones coming through as I do not suit rusty orange tones at all when choosing a colour shade product, yet due to being given a pre treatment stripper on my hair, which I did not ask for, it's made me have now a rusty undertone coming though in my hair colour, which I don't like at all and did not want, my husband did not like the colour results either and said it looks orange and did not suit me, which was upsetting. And now I will need to think about what to do about my colour somehow and try getting the orange-ness toned down elsewhere, which might mean i would have to possibly go back to a darker shade which I do not want...Plus not happy to have spent all this money ....£146... and ended up not liking the colour result, and now needing to do something to my hair to fix it to another colour to tone down the rusty colour ....The ladies in the salon were all very nice and friendly and so was the lady doing the colour on my hair, I don't feel it's anyone's fault directly, for the colour used not turning out right for me, other than maybe the pre treatment of the stripper making my hair so orange looking possibly, I think I should not of been given that treatment at all, as it has left my hair feeling dry now also. The lady who did my hair was a lovely person and so I did not wish to upset her by complaining and saying too much about not liking the colour results when in the salon, but did mention it had rusty colour undertones coming through when there to her....I just paid the ridiculously high amount charged at the reception, but did mention to the person who had booked my appointment who was on reception taking my money that she had quoted £80 originally over the phone, she mentioned I had more done to my hair than just roots, but why was I not being told it would all top up the cost much more than £80 as things went along in the salon before other such stripping treatments were applied, I would of gladly said no thank you to them, ... especially as I feel the stripper has ruined the condition of my hair now and made it have all this awful orange come through ....Sadly I won't be looking to use this salon again / anymore as results were not pleasing and the prices quoted are definitely NOT it would seem the prices charged on the way out.

I had heard amazing things about both this salon and the one in Blackpool so I was suprised and delighted to get an appointment with only 2 days notice. I arrived a little early, having made my way by public transport, and was seated in the reception area of a very busy salon. Being a Saturday morning, every chair was full and there was a the soothing babble of conversation and scissors snipping away. Once I was taken through to meet my stylist, I began to relax. She listened attentively to what I wanted and made suggestions which I readily agrred to. THen I was whisked off behind a funky beaded curtain to the enclosed hair-wash area. This made it feel very exclusive and swanky but was incredibly relaxing with amazing Keratse products and a lengthy soothing head-massage during washing. My haircut lasted nearly two hours - and it was absolutely perfect. t would be lovely to be able to afford to visit Rory Blair for every cut but unfortunately, it is just slightly out of my price range for regular visits

I was having a cut & colour, when the girl took my hair out of my bobble she stated my hair was in bad condition & they might not be able to colour it until an elasticity test was done. She got JUSTINE (MANAGER/OWNER) to check, she said it was okay then spoke to girl privately. I found it strange how i only ended up with 3 foils on each side (6 in total yet was charged full price!) but thinking they were professionals i trusted what they were doing. Justine was more intrested in dashing off with her boyfriend for the afternoon leaving the 2 young girls. i soon began to feel as though I was being sniggered at & made fun of and even doubted myself thinking i was being paranoid. A couple of days later the psoraisis flakes must have come loss from the cut which lead me to go to the doctors, when i was diagnoised with scalp psoraisis. I have since found out it is against the law for them to have coloured my hair as my scalp had alot of sores, making sense now why they only put 6 foils in my hair. it passed at the time as looking like my hair had had a splash of colour which they were then able to charge full price for!! the worst part is how these so called hair professionals made me feel, they did not inform me or even ask me about the psoriasis, now i realise it was not paranoia i was being sniggered & laughed at. thanks to these heartless people my hairs still in bad condition and even though the psoriasis is not as server i am to scared & embarassed to go to another hairdressers for fear of being made to feel like a laughing stock whilst being charged full price for a quick hair fix that will only last the day!

Twice I have had my cut by the Principal Senior Stylist and four times by the sylists a step below that. The salon looks very trendy from the outside and inside it is stylish, with an exclusive salon feel. THe products used are all top quality and the seating is comfortable and expensive. I went in asking for a plain haircut and came out with something lovely and stylish but not very practical. THat would be my only complaint about the place - if you want a boring and easy-to-manage cut, you are likely to find yourslef with something very up-to-date in the stlye factor but perhaps not what you originally wanted. Both my sister and I felt compelled to give in to stylist recommendations rather than fighting our corner for what we wnated - and, in the end, we both stopped going as there was a feeling that we weren't quite trendy enough to fit in there. Overall it gave good haircuts at a mid price range which provides exceptional value for money as the stylists are all trained to the very highest of standards. Great if you want a major change or to keep up with the latest styles - but a bit pricy if all you want is a quick trim.

I had a girl called Tracy who gave me the best hair cut I've had in a very long time! I noticed that things can get pricey the more you have done and more importantly WHO does it but as I only ever have a cut and blow dry I would definitely recommend it to anyone. A great thing about this place is that they offer late night openings so if you're like me and work a 9-5 this is a great way to avoid wasting precious Saturdays
