I love the "heftiness" of my original now considered vintage Juliska. I understand that they may have reduced the materials in production, maybe due to cost of materials after the pandemic. You can see the foot ring on the front surface of some of the plates now. But I would be willing to pay an extra $10 dollars for the same substantial plates and bowls as the ones originally produced. The branding "Juliska" is also just stamped versus a raised appliqué, on the rear. But just as beautiful and good quality.

Another reason I love coming to this location is the deals, merchandise, and coupons as a Hallmark member. Last year I had some ornaments in my online shopping cart and I waited too long to which resulted in them being sold and unavailable. When I found some time after the holidays, I wanted to use my free card coupon and didn't have much expectations with regard to holiday sales. Needless to say, I walked out with all the ornaments I wished for and then some for an even better deal than online! The boba, cheese, pokemon, cutesy ornaments etc. magically were available!
