At Christmastime in the US at least one easy-listening station goes 100% Holly Jolly till December 25th (if we're lucky, 26th). Until very recently no station was willing to take the onus upon themselves here in ireland.
And then in 2008 came Christmas FM.
This yearly treat of a station pops up in late November and doesn't stop the Jingle Bell Rock till Stephen's day. Text in comments and requests and hear them read aloud to the strains of Chris DeBurgh's "A Spaceman Came Traveling".
The all-volunteer force works with the same holiday cheer that comes through over the airways and online, making this an extra holiday treat that's indulgent and fun but without the guilt of mince pies or custard. read more
